You would have loved it back then! I saw Coal Chamber 5 times between 97-2000. Machine Head with Coal Chamber and Slipknot for their Burning Red tour. Fear Factory with Static X on their Obsolete tour. And Pantera in 97 on their handling concert hall tour with Anthrax and then again at Ozzfest 2000. Was a fun time for shows and music!
Hi from 11 years later. I remember going to Ozzfest 97 at Camden when the main and 2nd stages played simultaneously. Coal Chamber easily had the largest crowd on the 2nd stage by the time their set was over as people were apparently not into Fear Factory. Now 98 was a killer year where CC was on the mainstage with Tool, Soulfly, Sevendust, Limp Bizkit, SOAD, with Motorhead headlining the 2nd stage

Yeah it’s a real shame what her life became. News reports state she been missing since September after leaving a group home. The last known picture of her now at the age of 51 is a sad site of what she once was. Missing for four months in New Orleans? Safe to say she’s homeless on drugs somewhere or dead.
@@davidpearson6346 well, unfortunately, it’s most likely true. With smart phones and social media, it’s hard for a person to completely disappear nowadays, unless they are really gone. Especially someone who was sort of a public figure for any period of time.

Coal Chamber toured a lot during this time. I saw them in my region a total of five times. The first time was in a nearby town, and I went early to explore a bit. Walking down the street and turned a corner, literally bumped into the guitarist and drummer. I just said hi and didn't want to bother them. The second time I saw Coal Chamber they were playing literally right next to my house. I did eventually talk to Dez at another concert, and he was very nice. We talked about body piercing.
