It’s extraordinarily clear that in character, at least Lang and Ray are not what they want used to be. Ray has always been kind of a cocky individual, but he kind of feels like he can do just about anything he wants because of his gang now. I would love for him to be shot down a few pegs so he can actually grow up in character.
If you really know Raymond as a character, his growth shows a lot here. Old Raymond would've shot penny there. After the Mickey incident. Raymond is a more patient character now.
