So good to hear sir buddy's perspective. Para siyang poste pag natugtog sa sobrang sturdy, consistent at precise na parang midi track yung playing niya yet there's still a human nature in him at sa ginagawa niya. Thankyou sir Darren and Rayms!!!
what i really love about Buddy playing on stage? yes nakatayo lang sya. at sya lang yata yung poste bassist na never kang mabobored pag pinanuod mo sya. very entertaining yung mga choice of notes nya for every song. napaka genius.
The Head's virtuoso...Buddy is so good in using the 3rd or 5th of the Root. Listen to Huwag mo nang Itanong or the chromatic Bridge of Fruitcake. May pagkacanon pa ang chorus. Ang galing talaga ni Buddy. What sir Buddy is doing kapag chchange niya yung bass line sa last parts is called reharmonization ng bass lines. One of the most powerful tool ng bassists to create tension and carefully din pnplay yun and dapat right timing. It can only work din sa mga last parts ng song kapag na established na yung groove para pagdating sa dulo, napaka angas pakinggan. 🙂

Tinanung ko sya about drums. Sabi nya pakingan mo tunog. Tas try mo kantahin (ala beatbox, way before beatbox). Saka mo ipalo sa drums. It was nice to hear all his stories again.
ngayon ko lang napanuod. ni look up ko na si buddy dati pa, sobrang siksik ng ep. na to
Hi Bossing Raymund Watching here from Bukidnon @boypolagoy bisrock band.
great episode… suggestion po: it would be interesting for your future videos to ask the guest musician’s personal favorite effects / gears/ brands that they’ve been using professionally on recording and live gigs. And the “worst” gear or instrument they’ve used as a beginner / professional. Thank u.
U can check Sir Perf's channel po, more on gears/gadgets din un sa kanya
Excited for your New Zealand tour.
