I finally understood what is happening with all theses DPS/support characters and I actually like what is happening? I mean, we now have supports that work not for the elements but for the Stellar Outburst style. I was becoming really worried that I should need to pull for each and everyone of them, but I can actually skip characters now without losing too much. This was not really possible back then. It's really nice to see that every character now can be a support to one another even if not in the best way.

its been a while since last time I properly reviewing valkyrie guide. Though I still confuse with rotation but at least I understand the different support/dps role for Part 2 valkyrie.
Got lucky and got her a bit early. Didn't plan to commit to part 2 characters, but the new mechanics and playstyles are just way too fun and fresh to resist. I will try for her weapon, got lucky and got full stig set in a 10 pull. She is sick. Already is doing more damage than all my other fire dps (doesn't say too much, my fire teams have been the worst on my acc in comparison), I always hate fire content, so she is a much needed character for me.

Usually after Combo Attacks she uses Ultimate because apparently her combo attack buffs her ULT slightly. Either Marisa is tired and forgot or because he's fighting Mobius the rotation is a bit different.

I feel you. Every patch new s-rank, Sena wasn’t proposed as a HoTr-tier support but a lightning dps after Luna. The way part 2 is trying to shape is interesting but this early transitional period sure is something Just hope imminent physical dps won’t create content immune to elements
Seriously. Every single Part 2 team being gatekept if you don't have Senadina was a horrible design choice by Hoyo. Making an entire roster of new characters completely dependent on ONE specific unit should never be a thing. It literally locks you out of playing the new Astral Ring teams that Hoyo is forcing us to use, since they're tailoring all competitive content (Memorial Arena, Abyss, etc...) to Part 2 characters. Part 1 valkyries just can't compete anymore (except for maybe Luna, because she's just THAT ridiculous).
@@Xcelsia it would be fine if they gave her away by completing the first chapter of the story (like it's done in some other gachas) or if the necessary character was an A-rank farmable valk, but locking part 2 teams behind Sena is so bad, even if it is temporary, it shouldn't have been a thing to begin with. Losing 42000 crys is the worst scenario if you're unlucky in pulling. Right after Thelema I don't think any F2P player would have that amount of crys to pull Lantern

Fun fact: lantern can illuminate areas with fog by creating a small area around you and you don't take damage from it, just because. she's realy like a lantern❤❤❤

@@MarisaHonkai Answering your question, my Valkyrie/Expansion supply luck is always bad. Almost every S-rank from Empyrea until Herrscher Team (except for Luna, I got her on first 10 pull) I need 14-20k crystals at very minimum to safely pull them. So, I decided to just pull her gear.

Check out my Senadina guide. Her team is sena helia and coralie. Helia and coralie are f2p. Coralie entire gears are f2p. Helia can work without weapon. If you have Lantern weapon you can use it on Helia for more atk. If you want to replace someone with Lantern, replace Coralie with Lantern. Check out Lantern guide for more details.
for affixes, it is better atk of fire damage? I know that normally atk is better, but with luna lightning damage was better because of her high hit count so I dunno if lantern fall in the same category.
Honestly a total skip. For her to be optimal you really need Senadina or Thelema because she can't extend Rondo duration unlike Thelema, which is why it's a little funky when Coralie is used instead of Thelema/Senadina while Thelema doesn't have this problem at all. Her main selling point is that she can buffs Physical Astral Ring Valks as a support due to her giving Crit Buffs but then again for F2Ps she already have a replacement that won't make her extremely clunky to use, as Thelema and Senadina can still buffs Physical and gives max Rondo Buffs if said Physical Valk is using Wheel of Destiny, and Coralie can be used as well if said Physical Valk is using World Star. As for her bosses, from what I've tested in Beta. Most if not all her bosses are brute force-able. Stellar RPC with Thelema DPS or Senadina DPS. Fire Mobius, Fire Heimdall and Fire Tank with HoF or Sirin. Type Kasumi with HoF or HoHE, Ranged Tank with HoHE or MPE. SSS Mobius is the hardest one but other Valks like HoF, Luna, HoHE, or HoRb DPS can be used as well.
I only have Sirin (fully geared), but no HoF, and no ranged dps actually. I was kinda hyped for Lantern as a non HoF haver, (HoFi without her signature stigmata), but it seems like she still isn't the valk I've been waiting for/needing, although I have DsA fully geared (her trio too) and a weaponless Thelema... In my case, should I skip her?

I'm positive 7.6 will be the Physical Astral Ring Valk, since Lantern and surprisingly Coralie has good buffs for Physical. I will skip her this version as I'm using it as a saving patch, but since Thelema amd Senadina got reruns extremely fast I might pull her in 7.6 along with the new Valk. Thelema literally drained my Xtals really bad this version.
F2P currently, said I didn't need her but tried 2 10-pulls and got her on 21 somehow, so guess I'm building 😂. I was saving for the phys dps that might come after cuz my 2/4 dudu just ain't doing shit. Well guess I'll cry if they announce physical right after her 😭😭 (pls tell me they won't)
So... if you did skip Thelema, it's kinda no use to pull Lantern? Thelema is a better support for Sena and their peak is all three of them in the same team. She's POTENTIALLY might be better for future characters, but you have to be sure you'll have enough to pull for them too (and there's no guarantee you'll like these future characters) so pulling for her is... well, conclusion: it's never easy to be a filthy f2p.

7:11 "part 2 stigma drop is crazy" : well yes. In before we have headache because its easier to get (multiple) signature weapon and hard to have complete stigmatas. Now its reversible. 😂
So basically if you don't have Senadina, you're screwed. The fact that she's necessary in every single Part 2 team is extremely dumb. Kneecapping the entirety of the Part 2 roster due to one single character was a terrible design choice. I really hope that Hoyo introduces characters in the future that can serve as a replacement for her, because making every currently released character reliant on her is ridiculous. Though honestly, the back-to-back-to-back-to-back S-Rank characters every patch since Garuda Fu Hua is also ridiculous. Normal players can't keep up with this, making it even MORE difficult to actually build a fully viable Part 2 team. Which Hoyo is making necessary with tailoring all competitive content toward Part 2 characters and moving away from Part 1 teams. I can't say I'm a fan of the direction that Hoyo is taking things.

The physical dps can still work without lantern. Sure might be less dmg than lantern support, but should still work fine.

No, Lantern does not generate domain resonance mark. The mark is a dps itself during SO, and helia herself buffs the mark and senadina.

Fire Mobius, Fire Heimdall and Fire Tank with HoF or Sirin. Type Kasumi with HoF or HoHE, Ranged Tank with HoHE or MPE. SSS Mobius is the hardest one but other Valks like HoF, Luna, HoHE, or HoRb DPS can be used as well.

I only have Sirin (fully geared), but no HoF, and no ranged dps actually. I was kinda hyped for Lantern as a non HoF haver, (HoFi without her signature stigmata), but it seems like she still isn't the valk I've been waiting for/needing, although I have DsA fully geared (her trio too) and a weaponless Thelema... In my case, should I skip her?

Helia is a resonance generator + triggerer + buffer. You keep her in the team.

Yeah see 3:23 20% dmg difference, and in abyss, coralie support gets around 78x while thelema support gets 82x against Mobius 481D

I'm positive 7.6 will be the Physical Astral Ring Valk, since Lantern and surprisingly Coralie has good buffs for Physical. I will skip her this version as I'm using it as a saving patch, but since Thelema amd Senadina got reruns extremely fast I might pull her in 7.6 along with the new Valk. Thelema literally drained my Xtals really bad this version.

So... if you did skip Thelema, it's kinda no use to pull Lantern? Thelema is a better support for Sena and their peak is all three of them in the same team. She's POTENTIALLY might be better for future characters, but you have to be sure you'll have enough to pull for them too (and there's no guarantee you'll like these future characters) so pulling for her is... well, conclusion: it's never easy to be a filthy f2p.

There's no point in pulling for every S rank every patch if they are gonna continue down this route.S-ranks back to back to back is crazy, i think ill just pull for waifus instead of maybe getting 100 extra points in abyss + lantern playstyle just seems boring to me.

There are other stuff that affect your damage such as ATK affix, emblems. Check out this Coralie ER guide, which shows some general info to take note in ER mode.

So basically if you don't have Senadina, you're screwed. The fact that she's necessary in every single Part 2 team is extremely dumb. Kneecapping the entirety of the Part 2 roster due to one single character was a terrible design choice. I really hope that Hoyo introduces characters in the future that can serve as a replacement for her, because making every currently released character reliant on her is ridiculous.
Though honestly, the back-to-back-to-back-to-back S-Rank characters every patch since Garuda Fu Hua is also ridiculous. Normal players can't keep up with this, making it even MORE difficult to actually build a fully viable Part 2 team. Which Hoyo is making necessary with tailoring all competitive content toward Part 2 characters and moving away from Part 1 teams.
I can't say I'm a fan of the direction that Hoyo is taking things.
