Jesus is NOT God, that lie is blasphemy that denies the rightful Sovereignty of Almighty God Jehovah who is far superior to Jesus. Jehovah is the one who caused all things to exist and denying his authority will lead to destruction! This Scripture is saying exactly that: (2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8) But you who suffer tribulation will be given relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels in a flaming fire, AS HE BRINGS VENGEANCE ON THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW GOD and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. Even an ignorant preacher should understand this Scripture, it clearly defines God as being different than Jesus!
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God... Thats John 1:1... Sounds like Yahshua or "Jesus" as you may call him is Gos as we know that Yahshua was the fleshly version of God.... man could not have lived a sinful life as Yahshua did. One more thing... only God can forgive sins, so if Yahshua wasn't God, he would not have been able to forgive sins. There are many scriptures that tell you that Yahshua is God.

(Philippians 2:7) No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and BECAME HUMAN. He was the equivalent of Adam in every respect BUT he remained faithful. Only in that way could Jesus be a sacrifice that redeemed what Adam lost, the right to live forever in perfection. Scholar Jason David BeDuhn “In John 1:1, the Word is not the one-and-only God, but is a god, or divine being.” Or to put it in the words of Joseph Henry Thayer, a scholar who worked on the American Standard Version: “The LOGOS (OR WORD) was divine, not the Divine Being Himself. Five German Bible translators likewise use the term “a god” in that verse. At least 13 others have used expressions such as “of divine kind” or “godlike kind.” These renderings agree with other parts of the Bible to show that, yes, Jesus in heaven is a god in the sense of being divine. But Jehovah and Jesus are not the same being, the same God.-John 14:28; 20:17.
