- For a game mode that they are "no longer developing" its interesting that they are still trying to keep it updated! There are 5 NEW Extraction shooters this year: • 5 Extraction Games tha... . But I don't know if they can compete with Warzone DMZ.. Playing with @Phixate

Why glitch when you know it's the best place to regear for your ops without worrying about anyone else because no one goes to koschei for stuff anymore?

Omfg when stodeh mentioned the game Red Alert brought back a lot of memories of sitting and killing every team but one and then having a whole bunch of choppers and tanks come around and just act like you didn’t spend hours building up your base and walking through it like it was nothing at all and having to go back and restart oh the good times 😂
I can only Dream & Hope that DMZ makes a return in 2026 when InfintyWard takes back control & makes their next Call of Duty game again, and with any luck DMZ will return with a Full release with more focus & attention that it deserves. I truly think DMZ is incredible & one of the Greatest game modes ever made, everything is done perfectly. Because it released in Beta mode with lots of things missing it got a bad reputation. ( i was one of those people who called the mode stupid) but when i returned after a few months & gave it a 2nd chance & i saw they added multiple active operator slots, weapon work benches, crafting recipes, different types of backpacks & Armor vest, a forward forward operating base, Wallet, Daily & weekly missions, special quest like the serpentine camo grind, and all the other updates & features they added in time I fell in love with the game mode. So much depth & endless possibilities everytime you enter a match to do a mission you get pulled in a different direction. As where Warzone feels so repetitive to make it to final circle every single game, DMZ you never know if you'll have a peaceful game doing missions, or will you join up to form a larger squad with another team, will you help save other solo players, will you fight on Final Exfil. Also the other little things DMZ offers like the Chemist, Pyro, Weapon case, Scavenger, Sniper & Rhino. DMZ is great and i think if Infintyward uses these next 2 years to build it up even better and give DMZ a full realsein 2026 till be spectacular. I believe switching squad sizes from 6 to 4 was a great change that really helped a lot of the solo players and its a change that should've been done a lot sooner and that would've helped the games reputation. Instead DMZs reputation was destroyed early on by releasing as a barebones mode, and having solo & duo players load into a match just to loose all their hard earned gear they spent 2 matches/hours collecting get taken from them & loose it all by a 6 man team with Advanced Uavs & Fireshot gun KV broadsides. Solos & Duos don't stand a chance against that savagery. Also forcing players to do story missions that require they must go to Building 21 or Koschei Complex to unlock the next set of missions didn't help either. Hopefully DMZ gets some reconstruction & gets a full Release in 2026 & earns a better reputation & becomes the next big thing. Koschei is one thing. I just wish they would fix the underbarrel glitch. Even if that means to disable all underbarrel explosives. If they are to lazy to fix it for real, just plz disable it like they did with the duping. The underbarrel glitch ruins games like nothing else does. On EU servers during the day when the china guys are online you will see it way too much. It just seems like the underbarrel is fine, but we draw the line at duping....

06/03/24- did he just say DMZ should start off like Warzone in the beginning of the game. He said something like everyone starts with nothing and builds their kit. There’s already a game mode for that. DMZ is the ability to start with a kit or not but gives the player the option. I hope when this game comes out of beta they fix the few issues but they keep the idea the same. It’s terrifying when you loose your kit and loot if you get downed. That’s the exiting part. Anyway, see you guys in the lobbies.
Likely have a couple devs at best whom are given a bit of time to go see what they can do on some old fix lists... ended up being the easier one to do and they did it OR the only one they could at the time.

The Koschei glitch is harder to fix. In terms of coding.
Would be nice if they updated the shotguns in DMZ, they ruin all the fun and take zero skill

How stupid is the dmz warzone idea?? Like we need a nother warzone mode!! That's why people like dmz, because it's nit warzone! Stop with trash ideas!! Get lost
if i had to guess, its because Warzone still uses MW2 glitches and DMZ still allows you to unlock MW2 guns if you extract them. Not familiar with the glitch, but if you can duplicate weapons, than this would be considered a shortcut. And of course, they want you to play, they want you to spend money cuz you enjoyed it. So shortcuts are bad. Buy the full game or some schematic vs someone duplicates that weapon, never play dmz again.
either way, i dont really know, just a guess. plz revive DMZ. give us the new maps. Sure that would mean DMZ bundles in shop, but im sure im not alone when i say i bought some of those.
