What a sweet walk down memory lane. Thank you so much there were a lot of ornaments that threw me back to so many memories of my childhood. I was born in 1956 in my mom and dad always make Christmas so special for me and my brother. We were both blessed that as a child we got everything that we asked Santa to bring. The best gift that I ever received was I got to take care of my mom who was blind from macular deterioration of the retina, the last 20 years of her life. She was my mom, my best friend and my roomie. She's in heaven now and I will never be ashamed and I will stand on top of a mountain to let everyone know I always was a mama's boy. She was an angel in a joule. And I know in my heart that she and my dad have both put golden Place tags on 2 Majestic chairs for my brother and I. So God bless to all and again thank you for the Retro Christmas memory.🎅
I enjoyed part 2 thoroughly. I wish there was a part 3, 4, 5, etc. Lol You decorate so beautifully. I love it all. I really love the ceramic tree! I've never seen one like it. It's so unusual I think you got it at a steal.

I cannot wait to go thrifting at resale shops tomorrow. What have you done to me? We had company for dinner today and during the dinner, I told about your website, our male guest asked me what your name was. I went and got my notebook and showed him your sites. After dinner, he wanted to see my featherweight sewing machine. He is probably in his early eighties, never married, and could remember his mother having a featherweight sewing machine. Then he saw the original service manual, and his joy was REAL! He pointed out all the places where he would oil the machine for her. Thank you so much for sharing your treasures with us, especially during this year when so many of us have faced personal challenges. ❤️❤️

my aunt had one of those silver trees and had a big color wheel turning on it..i thought it was so sophisticated and beautiful back then...that was in the 60s....love all your beautiful vintage pieces...i am lucky to find some beautiful mikasa and crystal Christmas pieces at Goodwill...my best friend had one of those Christmas ceramic trees... I had ordered the cookie/candy? nutcracker tins a few years back from QVC? as stocking stuffers gifts, mainly because they had a blond nutcracker (unusual) which reminded me of my son, so he got that one. I still have 2 I use as decor too.

They were always so reasonable there and had great items. They were in a mall and that mall lost their biggest store, Penny's, so the whole mall suffered loss of traffic. I had ordered the cookie/candy? nutcracker tins a few years back from QVC? as stocking stuffers gifts, mainly because they had a blond nutcracker (unusual) which reminded me of my son, so he got that one. I still have 2 I use as decor too.

Hi Rebecca! Thanks so much for watching our second Christmas tour and sending your kind message! ❤ We found the ceramic tree at a small antique shop in a country town that was only open once a month. They were always so reasonable there and had great items. They were in a mall and that mall lost their biggest store, Penny's, so the whole mall suffered loss of traffic. So the antique store closed. 😕 Thanks so much for your support and Merry Christmas to you! ❤💚❤
