Loved this! I was trying to figure out what to do with my napkins and rings that I recently purchased. I ended up using your technique of pinching it in the middle, then placing the ring on the napkin. 🥰
Michelle, thanks for the tips. I typically create tablescapes year round. I've created the first one and the bow. I've also played around with napkin folding and last Christmas my napkins looked like Christmas trees. I am going to try the 3rd & 4th one and the rose. Thanks again. I love decorating tables ALL the time….
I have been decorating tables for church fellowships dinners for decades… I hated the bare tables that they would set up with a pitcher of water in a set a salt and pepper shakers. I called that the prison ministries look so I began my quest for decorating and every month I have a new theme January’s a hard one, but I use royal blue table clause, I purchase 20 of every color with the royal blue looks beautiful with a blue runner that has silver and white iridescent snowflakes and I have a silver sleigh that I add snowflakes and then those clear acrylic Christmas trees with blue lights in them makes very magical looking setting
But there’s always some control freak that has to get involved and try to discourage me saying that it’s a lot of work and expense. Why do that for church fellowship dinner people don’t care, but I found that to be opposite of what this guy says and I asked him why does it bother him that I spend my own money my own time my own resources to decorate the tables and it’s true. I don’t ask people from my church to help but I don’t understand why some people are so controlling.
Absolutely love all of these but my 3 faves were...the rose and the pleat one and all time favorite is the one you tuck in around plates. Can't wait for your next napkin ring tutorial. I just picked up some white linen napkins that will be perfect for them. 💖

Thank you, you made them seem so easy, I will definitely try them. I design tablescapes all year, as I collect beautiful dishes. It’s a bit of an obsession. I’ve been intimidated by napkin folding and have only tried two ways, so this tutorial was very helpful.

Edit: I never decorate my table and I usually use expensive paper plates during the holidays for easy cleanup because we usually have a medium sized party. This year we will only spend turkey day with around 10 people, so I decided to decorate. Happy holidays!

Hello your ring napkins with the angle wings I want to know how you did it
Cute folds! I don’t do anything beyond a centerpiece because my in-laws complain, say they aren’t “those kind of people”, take everything off & throw to the side. Smh 🤦♀️ I tried for a while to do things nice for them but they don’t care or appreciate so I gave up. I would really really love ❤️ to do pretty tablescapes for xmas or whatever though!!!! 😀😃
Lol! I know what you mean! My family was like that too but now they are used to me doing it. They literally used to ask for a paper napkin and didn’t want to use the one placed on the table. I would say they are machine washable you know. 😝
