This AI narrator is probably the best one I've heard yet.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing! Surely ElevenLabs? I think what also helps is the script feels pretty well written too
Shame the accent feels like someone trying to puncture my eardrums with rusty paper clip

What I want to figure out is how the human brain and body can be so efficient. There are millions of synapses but they fire in waves, never fully loading the system or bottlenecking the nervous system, or shutting down organs or capabilities (normally), all on a burger and shake.
They fire in waves because when it is inputted into our perceived state of the world, which is our 20 second memory, and this triggers more and more associations off that one creating the state of the world and our consciousness from the base inputs.
It never overloads because it deals with the highest priority ones. Thus only seeing them. Thus do not overload most times. Anxiety is just the fluctuation between two patterns. One positive and negative and they flip back and fourth. Thus causing the pattern we see and the body reacts.
The human mind is simple to learn and understand but one has to accept all truths about themselves to do it otherwise they cannot get it to work. And a lot do not want to accept this truth, or even want to know it.
It's a basic process where you have the perceived state of the world(20 sec), the day long memory, the long term memory, 3 sets of association processes and the association process we call imagination. They just work together like a relay.
I had videos showing how all this works uploaded but they were getting shadow banned from what I could tell so I removed them. But it is a simple relay system. The fact they don't want it saying the truths it will associate is what is holding them back.
This give me serious NerveGear vibes 🤯 We're seeing AI-controlled simulations that closely replicate neural activity and behavior, which is a huge step toward immersive virtual realities. While we're still far from wearing a helmet, lying in bed, and entering a virtual world by closing our eyes, this breakthrough definitely brings us closer to that sci-fi dream...
One man's dream...one girl's (my) nightmare.
How do you know you don't just think we are far from that? Maybe it happened a long time ago
I couldn't care less about virtual worlds. I want to function better in this one, which I have never been able to do because of severe mental health issues.
@@SquawkingSnail Why??
@@jimj2683 I think it mostly boils down to my already thinking we're all so distracted that we are too prone to letting reality slide into shit, and that more of the same will only bring more of the same.
so fricking annoying toggling through 5 different clips and the entire transitions library. I guarantee from the voice, script, production etc... all of this video was generate.
Aaaand Star-Wipe!
The whole video is even narration is Ai so fucking dumb
The voice is definitely real, not generated
@@JazzLikesLightsabershahaha, it's an ElevenLabs default voice....
Not real. To wordy. Many things in here don't make sense. This is definitely not a human. Or at least not an intelligent one
The really sad sad fact is that we do not have one actual artificial intelligence processing chip we're about 20 years away at best all we have now is algorithms we don't have a standalone artificial intelligence that's not requiring a third party data imprint we're not even close
Really in depth and the graphics are great. They help match the statements.
"The ability to spontaneously transition between different operational regimes based on context." (It Just Works!) This seems to demonstrate the "spark" of truly generalizing intelligence we've been looking for. Please, tell me otherwise.
Congrats to Deepmind AI!!!!!
Very interesting topic. I would recommend this show if it the presenter was a human instead of an AI
This roadmap is very important for humanity, we have successfully completed the brain of a mammal, next would be to complete more complex mammals, such as cows, bears, dogs, and cats, to eventually replicate successfully the most complex of them all, humans.
What happens then after we reach that frontier? then is the base we been waiting for, the achievement that is going to be the base to transform humanity, humans have been condemned to the limits of their organic brains, we can't be better, we can't come out with better solutions because we can't be more intelligent, when we get the AI base we are going to build from there, to expand intelligence to unimaginable potential, double, triple, or maybe an infinite amount of times more intelligent than humans, that will create perfect solutions to everything, new materials, and it would manipulate physics in ways that we would see as magic.
The energy around Cyberopolis is infectious. This community believes in the project's success.

Skynet is here, near... 😂
This is an amazing video, nice work :-)
So amazing what this simulations allows for example could you imagine that human robots are moving so?
I remember seeing something a while ago about a project that would fully model atom for atom (or maybe cell for cell or something) an entire rat brain in a computer. They said it would take some ridiculous amount of memory to the point where they were waiting for memory technology to improve, does anyone know what I'm talking about?
I asked my little friend: Yes, there have been studies and projects aiming to model the brain at a very detailed level, including the Blue Brain Project. This project, led by EPFL in Switzerland, aims to create detailed digital reconstructions and simulations of the mammalian brain, starting with the rat brain.
The Blue Brain Project uses data-driven models to simulate neurons and their connections, requiring immense computational power and memory. The team has successfully simulated small portions of the rat brain, like the neocortical column, and even created a digital piece of brain tissue that fires like the real thing. This work requires solving billions of equations to simulate neuronal activity, and the project's ambitions include expanding these models to more comprehensive brain regions as memory and computational technologies improve [oai_citation:1,Blue Brain Portal - Blue Brain Project - Digitally reconstructing and simulating the brain](portal.bluebrain.epfl.ch/) [oai_citation:2,Blue Brain Project - Wikipedia](en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Brain_Project) [oai_citation:3,Rat Brain Reconstructed in a Computer | Live Science](www.livescience.com/52453-rat-brain-reconstructed-in-computer.html).

The advancements Cyberopolis is making in blockchain tech are nothing short of revolutionary.
Upon getting a job, you will have to agree to have a sim-doppleganger interview and follow through ... Your doppleganger will remain in simulation to study how best to improve your work performance based on your neural patterns at work and act as you "mentor" to help you achieve goals through the day as long as your employment is contracted. Your past years brain patterns will be trained and evaluated and compete with other candidates in sim for the position. Please mail swab to... (people will still have to be in commercial settings for "liability reasons" (can't hold robots liable after all). - just a scenario.
Very imaginative. I'd happily read it ... don't want to live it though.

imagine someone from the medieval age hearing about all of this, and getting a detailed but simple explanation so that they could understand...
What would be their reactions?
Ah, good sir, prithee imagine this marvel: Thou hast lived thy days in yonder medieval times, where lords and knights do rule, and peasants toil in the fields. And now, a wondrous traveler from the distant future doth appear, bringing tales of magic and sorcery beyond thy wildest dreams.
"Hark!" quoth he, "In our time, we have created great metal knights called 'robots.' These mechanical men can think and act without human hand. They serve us in many ways, like tending to our crops and guarding our keeps, yet they do so without rest or complaint."
"In sooth," thou mayst say, "what devilry is this? How can mere metal possess the wit and strength of men?" Yet the traveler speaks further, "We have harnessed the power of the stars and bottled it within these creations, teaching them to learn and grow wise with each passing day."
Imagine, good sir or madam, thy amazement and wonder! Mayhap thou wouldst think these future folk are wizards of the highest order, wielding spells unknown to any alchemist or sage. Or perchance, thou wouldst fear such creations, thinking them akin to the monsters of yore, wrought by dark arts to bring ruin upon the world.
Verily, thou might stand agape, mouth agog, pondering the marvels of such a distant age. Forsooth, the traveler’s tale doth weave a tapestry of awe and trepidation, leaving thee to wonder: Is this future a blessing or a curse?

The concept of AI has been around since Ancient Greece's automatons. They are in various Greek myths, which travelling storytellers were familiar with, so most people in the Middle Ages would have had _some_ framework to understand robotics.

if steam, google, harvard and neuralink get together, i think sword art online might become a reality ,.,
Oh, it's coming. And it will be far worse than the anime.
@@ShangaelThunda222 i personally liked the anime, i mean, other than the "die in-game = die irl" thingy, so i think it'd be nice to have a game like that
@@that_guy1211 Ya, until you're stuck in it, with the exact same circumstances as the anime, or worse, but you're not a protagonist from an anime. You're an actual person, meaning you'll probably not make it out lol. If that was to happen irl, it's very likely that nobody beats that game. We don't have plot armor lol.
@@ShangaelThunda222 i meant like... just the idea of being able to play games hooked directly into your brain ,.,
not the actuality of SAO ,.,
@@that_guy1211 But that is exactly what that leads to in reality. They're not creating these things for your entertainment. And even when they do, that's just to get you to put your time, energy and finances into it, giving them more funding and ability to make their next level of Technology. Entertaining you is only a means to an end for them, it's not the actual goal.
You should never plug technology into the human brain, nor wear any type of headset that can literally transfer your Consciousness from your body to a digital Avatar, in a digital realm, especially to the point where, if you die in that digital realm, you die in "real" life. But that's what this technology is.
Just like the negative outcomes in Demolition Man, The Matrix, Sword Art Online, etcetera, that's what it will lead to in this gods forsaken world, but definitely worse, because those are fictional worlds that must have happy endings. We do not have plot armor. We do not get Happy Endings, just because lol. We have to actually make the smart, non greedy, non desire based decisions, to not create this technology at all, let alone interact with it, give it our time, energy and funding, or else we WILL suffer the consequences as a species.
