Mob Deep epitomised " The Rotten Apple" with their music and no other rapper comes close. Every song and beat felt like it took you right to a New York housing project, just Grimey with blunt, harsh, vicious and arrogant lyrics. To add to that Prodigy's cold, calm and laid back voice made it even more menacing.

man i bought it like 2 days before he died with 'the infamous' vinyl ... read like 250/300 pages the night i saw he died (it was 10 pm where i live when i found at-when nas announced it)... that book is great and i listen to every song of his now and understand some things that i didnt based on his story and his point on view on things... one of the best books ive read.
