Cause the beta was actually good and gave off a way better feel, the show is suppose to stick with 1940s feel and honeslty it did I felt like it was a real show instead of the game.. really took the vibe away..I don’t know what Christmas tree is talking about tho..

The DLC intro is cool, but I like the original version since it matches the thirties better with the lyrics being a little darker. Plus, the barber shop quartet sounds better in my opinion.
The dlc also mat he's with the 30s, it just has a different tone

The beta is basically late 1920s, the original old intro sounds like 1930s while the dlc sounds more into the early 1940s

For those of you who want the Old Intro Back, You can actually get the Old Intro back back if you go onto the Pause Menu, Settings, and then Visual. There will be a setting at the bottom that says Intro and by default (If you have the DLC.) will be set as the DLC Intro. Go down to it and Change the setting to from DLC to Classic. And that’s it!
Edit: I don’t think that the Developers would have wanted to remove any asset or music from the game anyway. The game took THREE years to make. The DLC took as much time as the base game. Every part of the game took ages, and I knew there must be a way to get the Old Intro back. Luckily Studio MDHR are looking out for the fans!
I was watching it with subtitles on and it was auto-generated. When the quartet said “The Devil will take their heads.” On subtitles it said the “Devil will take their pants.” And now when I hear it I can’t stop thinking that they may have said pants instead of heads.

funny how dlc usually stands for downloadable content, but they made it stand for delicious last course for cuphead

there should be option to change between every single one of them to play as you enter the game. DLC one being unlocked with Old one with DLC, Reversed in the same you normally would hear it and Beta one after beating game 300%
DLC intro is Amazing it just feels so angelic and peaceful in the beggining and then so jazzy
If your wondering how to get the reversed song, You have to get the bad ending without dlc

I like both intros equally. The og intro feels like it's from the 1930's with the quarert and morbid tunes. The delicious last course feels more upbeat and 80's, like some time had past since cuphead and mugman's last adventure.
I would say the DLC music feels like the 1940s, which would fit since its a DLC of the original ”1930s game”

honestly, it looks like in this new dlc the mdhr wanted to match some years later than the style of the old song.
I don't know if you get what i mean, but if you listen you can tell that the old intro feels, well, older, while the new one sounds like disney movies from the 80s (i think), or at least that's the atmosphere.
This is my first time seeing the Beta intro and oh man, I'm already in love with it's goofy animation. 😌
Fun Fact: When you complete a level in cuphead, when they yell CUPHEAD!!!, that was from the end of the beta intro right here. 0:39

I like the start of the DLC song, but after that i'd say it doesn't fit as a title screen. Like I would love the DLC song if it kept the beginning tone for the entire song.

It shows just how much work and love MDHR put into the game to continuously improve their craft until they felt ready to release it. The early versions of Cuphead and Mugman looked so weird and ugly at first, but they look so much better thanks to them improving the art style and looking more charming. I thought the early theme song was really good though, but I love the one we currently have in the final product. Also loved what they did in the DLC's title screen by adding Chalice!

To unlock the reverse you need to get the bad ending by joining the devil
They should've given us a reversed DLC intro.

Putting the original song on reverse is gone forever, unless you didn't buy the DLC.
Edit: There is now an update that came out so you can change it.

Reminds me of a hat in time. To enter one of the DLC areas you have to go through a washing machine/elevator called the dirty laundry cleaner (which stands for DLC)

You forgot "MUS_Intro_DontDealWithDevil_Vocal_666", the creepy reversed low-pitched one that shows the image of the devil when in a spectrogram. Before you say "But that's not obtainable, it's a secret in the files!".. Try getting the bad ending on the devil fight and entering the Konami code on the main menu afterward.

I wish you could swap between the classic intro and new intro in the settings, the classic intro is superior
