Suzy I loved the glass container with the candles. I have 3 of those candles that I decorated with a gold sparkley trim. I turn them on every night especially throughout the winter months to add a touch of coziness to our den. Kathy USA 🇺🇸

I'd like to say that France counts around 45 000 châteaux (fortified castles, castles, mansions) - among them, only 11 000 are classified "monuments historiques" by the state- many aristocratic families try to maintain their property (Imagine the cost of changing 1276 m2 of roofing in slates....). Also, you can find some castles purchased by ordinary french people, in order to save them. One is particularly known : famille Guyot - In 1979, 2 brothers bought château de Saint Fargeau with little means- Till today, they save 15 derelict châteaux- Nowadays, even, their children are in charge of some chateau renovation (château de Vaux, de Tiregand, de Bridoire)- It's a family virus🤭

Nice bit of clearing up looking tidy . Loved the table decoration Suzie I have those lights really good with the remotes. Thats why we Did a Tontines when we signed for our property , I dont like the new builds they have no character to them, but its each to their own likes. Loved watching. Take Care Suzie and Rols🥰

In the US, it can take 3-6 months to get in to see a specialist. Dermatologists are the worst! I can't even imagine the actual DOCTOR answering the phone!!!

Thank you for the information about micro-entrepeneurs being able to register and get onto the French health care system right away. I am retired from a government job but also a visual artist. I hope to exhibit and sell artworks while living in France. I'll have to research if that would qualify as a micro-entrepeneur.

Most French people have to live close to their jobs and can’t afford a second country home that needs to be renovated…people also choose to be close to schools, healthcare, and other amenities etc….

I appreciate you like to sweep your own chimney regularly but thought I would just check you knew the law changed in France late last year that means you have to have it swept once a year by a registered sweep. It often used to be an insurance requirement but now it's law.
Hello Paul, thank you for watching and your message. We do have it swept annually for insurance purposes but we're not aware of the law change, so thank you. We like to sweep it once a month during the winter for our own peace of mind. See you next time, Suzie and Rols
