      DO NOT TRUST HEAT WAVE😢

  • @featherless2524
    @featherless2524 24 дні тому +18

    For people that wonder why he forfeited so soon. Chi-Yun and Terapagos are slower. Terapagos doesn't have protect. Both Michael's pokemon could double into Terapagos to knock it out which would leave Chi-Yun to get an attack off. Chi-Yun's heat wave(has to ko both pokemon that turn) even with a crit wouldn't be able to knock out Zamazenta. Zamazenta would k.o it the next turn. Now lets say Chi-Yun knocks out Zamazenta with a crit overheat. By that time Chien-Pao would have it's focus sash back in the next turn and be able to finish the Chi-Yun easily.

    • @DJTrek83

      was definitely influenced by tilt. He should have played to the crit heat wave win condition anyway because even timid chiyu has a very favourable roll to ko zam. Just want to commend Pokémon for keeping a gender balance in its casters. I know everyone is freaking out about Wolfe casting (and it was really fun) but I really enjoy watching these tournaments more because there is a fairly equal representation!

    Why would you forfeit there? It’s the finals! At least play it out for your opponent to possibly make a mistake.
    He could have done heat wave and Earth Power.
    Yes, if they played it out, Michael still would have most likely won, but what did Joji have to lose by playing it out?

    • @Novak-by4ji
      @Novak-by4ji 24 дні тому +1

      I agree that he should have kept playing and hoped for a mistake. However, I also understand his decision. Chien-Pao would have recovered all its HP after a Protect, regaining access to its Focus Sash, which increases the difficulty even more for Joji, whose two Pokémon are extremely threatened by Micheal's Pokémon. No doubt he should have played on, but the result was already decided.

    Commentary was annoying, that one dude tries too hard to sound regional kept screaming and was jarring as heck to listen to. The other lady is clearly new to pokemon. Lee's accent has been iffy for me but I like listening to his insights and commentary, if Lee and Lou(Cromie) werent here this weekend I wouldn't have just muted this event Id have skipped it entirely.

But I agree she's just not cut out for the job, I tried to mute when she speaks but I'm too stupid to understand VGC by seeing the screen alone, so I decided to not watch it altogether
