1:19:03. Here i disagree with Pavan. I watched Dhoomam in the first weekend without reading any review. If i decide to watch any movie, i dont read any review and did same for this movie as well. I usually follow directors and not actors and thats why i watched Dhoomam. I dint like it at all. How do i put what i felt about the movie..... Hmm.. I can say Dhoomam dint have soul. Like how characters of Lucia stayed with us. Nikki, Shankaranna... Songs... everything is still fresh in my mind. Even a performer like Fahad's character dint resonate with me. I cont even recall heroine's character clearly. Pavan has to internalise it and see instead of blaming social media and audience

ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ನೋಡುವವರ ದೌರ್ಭಾಗ್ಯ ನೋಡಿ.. ಇವರು 13 ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿರೋದು ಮೂರೇ ಸಿನೆಮಾ. ರಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ 10 ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ direct ಮಾಡಿರೋದು ಒಂದೇ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ sir last ಸಿನೆಮಾ release ಆಗಿ 9 ವರ್ಷ ಆಯ್ತು. ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ಕಾದು ಕಾದು ಸುಸ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಇದ್ದುದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಿಷಭ, ರಾಜ್ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಪರ್ವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ .. back to back movie ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿನೆಮಾಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಥಿಯೇಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆ ಮಾಡಿರೋದು.. ಇವರ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ಬರಲ್ಲ ನಾವು ಸಿನೆಮಾ ನೋಡಲ್ಲ ..

If you are willing to consider your viewers/followers choice also for this Just Curious series, will you please consider Veteran actors Ramakrishna (Manasa Sarovara fame), Ramesh Bhat, Girija Lokesh and the German girl who loves to speak Kannada - Jennifer (jennijigermany).
When you start feeling audience are dumb to understand your movie and hence the movie flopped, that’s the height of ignorance and arrogance which will never get you success. Audience are always intelligent that’s how a progressive director should think. 😟
1:32:04, in Karnataka also we have many dialect's not only the major ones, even a place like Shivamogga has more than 4 to 5 dialects of Kannada. Film makers don't show these...
Don't worry bro many movies which are good movie didn't do well in box office its not your fault.. its how people mindset is.. For example movies name which i know is : chigurida kanasu , lakshya (hindi), ondu muthina kathe.. and many like these..
Dhoomam has no drama and comidy in it, Pawan concentrated more on twist, truns and massage, In dhoomam he sharing his thoughts this is not how movie works .
I had met Pavan during the promotions of U-turn few years back. I somehow felt that this guy is a pseudo-intellectual and has a lot of head-weight that somehow is this big director which people don’t give enough recognition for. I lost all the respect I had for him in that brief 2 minutes interaction with him.
I was shocked to hear Pawan Kumar opinions about marriage Agreed these days there's lots of separation and divorce That doesn't mean one should lose hope in the institution of marriage If these kind of statements comes from public figures and that too celebrities from film industry it will have lots of impact on today's generation Atleast hereafter Pawan Kumar should think twice before talking
