I was surprised that these flowers are open during the day - but then I realized this must be someplace in Scandinavia, where the nights are very short during the summer.
Very easy I would say. My sister brought me a tiny piece maybe 15 years ago (from her vacation). I believe I would have let it dry (the end... always do this with cactus') and then perhaps put it into cactus soil. Now it is 8 feet long and has just bloomed for the first time! I never even knew what it was until NOW!

Yes they said 7 years and then the start blomming, but it need much sun and cold in vinter 10deegres C
