🤝 PPAs are win-win tools - PPAs allow energy buyers to pay a fixed price for energy over a period of years, reducing electricity cost volatility, at the same time they provide a stable and predictable revenue stream to renewable energy developers making it easier to invest in and construct renewable energy facilities.
💡 PPAs empower energy-intensive sectors to navigate the challenges posed by their high energy consumption and meet their sustainability and environmental objectives. At Mytilineos, for example, electricity accounts for 40% of costs in aluminium production.
