I've got a 21plate BMW R9T. I did the NC500 1st time on a BMW R1200RS and, last year on an older R9T. Both really good and, no problems with motorways, cruse control is a godsend on a long m,way run.
Nice bikes, very comfy indeed. I do like the BMW range and was tempted with the S1000XR buts just out the budget.
Yeah I know what you mean. I'm a big fan of shaft drive, no arsing about with chain cleaner and lube. BMW does stand for (Bring Massive Wallet) 😆.

I really enjoyed that vlog mate. As you say, the scenery is amazing, it's a shame that you didn't manage Appelcross Pass, if it's clear on the top the views are fantastic. So then, what are you considering for the next bike?
Hi thankyou. We really did get unlucky with some parts due to weather and Ive seen recent photos of how it should have been but it was still great and its always a gamble as you know. Im looking at a 2010 FZ1S Yamaha, the mrs likes the GSX1000F. I need to have a better look at the FZ1S but up to now looks a good bike, not to small to sit on etc. What do you have?
