Thanks for putting out this video, brother. I really appreciate it. I am in the editing phase for my latest vid right now, so I should have it up soon. I miss George too, and I think you did a great job clearing the air. I also wouldn't have a channel if it weren't for his trail blazing and encouragement. I'm glad we got the content we do have from him. Also, the list of other channels is a really great resource. Thanks so much!
I've watched all of George's videos 3 times over. I feel like he is family, and there is something about his delivery that puts me at ease. If you see this, George, thank you. Honestly, thank you from the very bottom of my heart.
Absolutely, without George i would have never gotten into distilling myself. He feels like that cool high school teacher who would motivate you and make you believe in yourself, the kind of people you look back on later in life and just be grateful that you got to go along for the ride for a bit

I had direct contact with George's daughter-in-law several months ago and she told me all is well and that George was traveling, relaxing, and taking some "Me time."
Well I’m glad to hear George is enjoying retirement, I assume he’s retired, and traveling and getting to take in some beautiful scenery and speed time with his family, he has certainly earned it. Here’s to you George from the distilling community.
Dude, thanks for the Shout out, Missing George, can't wait for Bearded to upload his new vid going to be awesome. Thank you for the support and the things you do for the craft.
I hate to think I might not get to see any more videos from George, but I wish him well in whatever he's doing. I've learned so much from you and George and Bearded over the years. The distilling community is by and large a sort of extended family and I love the idea of supporting each other. Thansk for the shout out and the list of other channels. There are a couple of channels on that list I haven't heard of and will definately be checking them out. Have a kick ass week Jesse.
Jesse, you are a class act in your tact in providing this information to the community. Bottom line is it takes a tremendous amount of time develop the skills to create, film and especially edit good content. Very few people have both the skills and personal time to pull it off. Those that do, mostly do it because they enjoy the process. And when the cons outweigh the pros, it's time to get back to one's real life. Props to George and B&B for making the required work/life balances they needed. To the haters, they are not worth your thought or breath. They are people that are unwilling and unable to put in time and effort to gain the skills and experience to make valid criticisms of those that have skills and life experiences. If they had gained those skills and experiences, they would appreciate what you share with us. Looking forward to seeing some more B&B content, best wishes to George and am looking forward to the new batch of content producers.
Couldn’t have said it better myself👍. Many prayers to George and B&B for their decisions. I know it had to be hard ones. Hope to see y’all in the future.

Thx for the updates. Thank you Jesse, Bearded and George for all your hardwork. We appreciate 🙏 Hope you guys take care of yourselves... to be in top shape when ready to come back. ;)
I’m a retired engineer, I worked in a weapons lab for the United States Air Force. So I’m close to George’s age, just a few years older, and have similar military background. So that said I really clicked with George’s personality, his physics, chemistry, and engineering approach to distilling. I’m no different than many on here, even now finding out that several of my son’s friends have been watching George, that were it not for George I would not be enjoying the craft of distilling. Being retired and close in age to George I salute him for the work and heart he put into his channel. I wish him all the best, I thank him from the bottom of my heart for what he has given me, I hope someday to meet him, shake his hand, and thank him personally. Same here, the insight these gentleman gave us into the craft is what pushed me into making the investment into home distilling. Thanks to these guys I have been able to produce a product that I have enjoyed with friends and family. I’m giving different kinds of distilled spirits away as gifts at Thanksgiving and Christmas and now the birth of another grandchild. I really had fun making and enjoying some George Washington Rye Whiskey. I never knew our First President was such a distiller and I loved making it to his original recipe.
Thanks for the update man, I’ve been thinking of both of them and still watch their channels for ideas or guidance. You all are my 3 favourite channels on this subject!!

Thanks Jesse for the updates. We all have been wondering about them. Love watching all you guys so educational. I'll be watching out for them and hoping. You all really have a big impact on us that love to learn about distilling. Thanks again and God bless.
Thank you for updating the mystery regarding George and bearded. Your position in not spreading gossip is spot on, IMO. Also thank you for listing the other channels which will assist us all in gaining more information in the craft.
It sure sounds like George was putting so much into his channel, and he was getting a few real zeros that were just acting like real jerks. I am so grateful for the content George shared with all of us, and am wishing him health and happiness!
Just wanted to let you know it was because of you, George and Bearded and bored that not only got me started with actually getting stuck into Home Distilling but also got me into starting a small channel myself. Big thanks to all three of you for what you have done for our hobby and the impact you've had on so many of us around the world. 👍😄👍
Between you and George, I learned a TON in a short amount of time. Appreciate all you guys have done. Wishing him the best. He's like that cool shop teacher in high school.
Thanks so much for this. I have missed George and being in healthcare I was worried about him, so I am glad to know he is taking a break and time for himself. Self care and love is extremely important. Especially in this time. Love your content and always learn so much! Thanks
I too got into this hobby because I saw George, Bearded and Jesse vids when living in a travel trailer while building a house. Not much to do at night in winter. Started watching videos and man you guys opened up a whole new world for me . Thank you. All three, thank you
Jesse, thank you for the update. I truly learned a lot from both George and Bearded, more so with George, he was the one I looked forward to on the art of distillation and the actual process. I will miss him dearly but wish him well in all his future endeavors? Thanks again.
Thanks Jesse. I can understand your reluctance to make the video. I would hope that 99.9% of people are genuinely concerned about George and Bearded. Thank you to both of them for helping me in my distilling development, and to you also Jesse.
Thanks Jesse. I was wondering and worried about George. Didn't know what was going on. I'm a Patreon with Bearded and he's been letting us know that more content will be coming. Thanks again.
You did this video in a tasteful and respectful way. Good job and thanks for the update. These guys helped me get through the worst of my cancer, love for them to know.
Thanks for the update about both youtubers. George has taught me so much and some of the stuff George didn't cover you did. Thanks for the great content please keep it going.
I was bored one day and scrolling on UA-cam. I came across 1 of George's videos. Shortly after that I built my 1st still, been doing it for about 6 or 7 years now. Even spoke to George a couple of times when I was getting started he really set me straight and put me on the rap path to get what I needed done .
Loved George. He is the man that got me going in the craft. He is the reason I watch you Jesse and Bearded and Bored. Love all you guys. Thanks for all you do.
Hope George doesn't take his videos down Im just about ready to buy my still and will need them to look back over for education and what chemicals I'll need... You two are all anyone needs to get things going so I dot from one to the other for whatever I be needing to learn at the time.... Keep it up very much appreciated
George is a wonderful person and I count myself lucky to have had interaction with him. He deserves a break no matter. His material is so in depth and the collection so large you could study for years and years and still miss things. He did that massive collection out of love for his craft and love of us. He is not obligated to interact at all with us but he did and that was also out of his kindness. I miss George as much as anyone and I miss him all the time. I always told George he so reminded me of my grandfather. He was so smart... both men the smartest I ever knew. George was not just a shiner, he was a scientist. He had all the numbers laid out for us. Explained the process in depth. He was an inventor and an innovator, but more than that an artist with a hell of a sense of humor. Toward the end I watched things go on that quite disturbed me. This is not second hand this is I saw with my own eyes. I watched some trolls bully George and it really disturbed me the way individuals act. There were also over the top fans that were being obnoxiously demanding expecting him to be at their beckoned call. He is a gentleman and didn't have a mean or rude bone in his body and put up with a lot of nonsense. Everything you need to know is still up on his channel. Everything you need... all the science and the numbers that are so crucial. I hope he enjoys his peace and solitude in retirement he deserves it. That I suppose is all I have to say. George if you are reading this... THANK YOU for all your years of service to us! One last thing... when trying to weld stainless to copper use the acid based stay clean soldering flux ;)
Thanks for the update Jesse, it'll be nice to see Bearded again - hopefully soon - and for me personally as long as George is alright if he wants time off, he wants the time off.
Thanks all I was looking for is that gorge is ok and not in trouble I like beard and bored haven’t missed him yet but glad to hear he is in good health
Thanks Jesse. Really appreciate you sharing this. I assumed George either retired or like many after Covid took a mental health break. Very glad Bearded and Bored will be back. It is thanks to the three of you that I restarted distilling - I took a 5 year break from distilling and actually got rid of all my stills. You content inspired me to start again. Thank you.
Hi Jesse, thanks for the update. Have been concerned about George and bearded for a while, especiallywith the pandemic. You've put my mind at rest whilst still respecting their privacy. Thanks again.
I started watching George way back when I first started home brewing, really enjoyed his content and detailed explanations. A while back there were some ads on social media using some of his content and I imagine that had something to do with him taking a break. Looking forward to seeing bearded back whenever he can. Thank you for taking the time to pass along this information. It sounds weird but after watching these guys for so long and interacting with them it was like losing contact with friends.
Good job addressing the topic and thanks for the updates. Class act as always, Jesse! George, very much appreciate all your content, enjoy the well deserved vacation! Bearded, looking forward to the upcoming videos!
I am about to purchase my first still, I reference all three channels and their content. I will give a review of the still I purchase and let you know of my results. Thanks for all of your input along with both Bearded and George, all three of you have been incredibly helpful!!
I just watched your informative video about George and Bearded And Bored. You answered the questions that I had. I appreciate that. Take care and be safe. Chuck
Jesse just wanted to say thank you for the update. I was honestly concerned for George's and bearded's health, it's good to hear that they are at least healthy and well. As one of the contributing members of mason jar mafia I would like to thank you for your shout out. We will get better at the editing I promise 😃
100% agree with you and your attitude in the video 👍👍 George has always been my ‘go to’ when it comes to distilling. To me, he’s an absolute LEGEND! Also thanks for the shout out Jesse. Was not expecting that!
Thanks for the update. Honestly, and I think most of us that are human beings anyway. We're concerned about something that happened. an Accident, illness, something that perhaps we could help with or even just pray on. You guys have given us all so much. And it's free, free knowledge from decades of experience. And that gratitude as far as I am concerned means caring about your well-being. And I am glad that George is taking a break, how long can you do anything and not get to the point where you need to?? And for the people who are complaining. Well, all of you guys have put enough information out there that they can re-watch them all and still learn something. Thanks again brother.
Thanks for the update Jesse. like so many George is the reason im in the hooby. The only channel that exsplained the science in depth. Its the only reason my product is drinkable and i dont have a mess in my wifes kitchen.
Absolutely agreed! Thank you to George, bearded .. and you. Without you guys i never would have tried this. We owe you guys, if anything! Whatever you guys do and decide; right on and all the best to you!
Thank you for passing along the information you did have, it's much appreciated. I was wondering what happened to George. He does deserve a long break. I look forward to his next video whenever that might be.
Thanks for sharing the update. Love all of you guys and your content. If people want to know that Bearded is good all they need to do is support his Patreon. He’s stayed in touch there and kept his supporters updated. I do miss George though. I think he’s like everyone’s distilling grandpa.
Jesse, thank you so much for the update. You where right when you said George was the original OG. I have watched all his videos along with bearded and yours as well. You all have done so much for the "community chasers." You guys have helped me out in watching your videos. You all have so much knowledge to impart on people who want to know and learn. As I said in my one comment to George, he reminds me of the grandpa I lost so many years ago with the caring talk and step by step process he takes. Not saying you and bearded don't have anything to offer because you both do. I look forward to seeing more knowledge come from you all!!! Happy Distilling!
Missed George and I'm really glad you made this video. His content is what turned a curiosity of mine into an interest and now a real hobby. Hope George comes back or considers an update/farewell, but I think everyone wants him to be happy no matter what he chooses. Will check out some of the channels you mentioned and thanks for helping the community.
As someone who just joined the community a few months ago, it’s good to know why George hasn’t answered my email! I was thinking the worst. Ha. Sláinte to George and to Jesse. Learning so much from you all.
Thanks for the update Jessie, you guys are the mainstay of the craft, one of which I'm just getting into. All three of you make this craft possible and George if you read this I hope you find your mojo again someday brother, we'll miss you.
Thank you for being Candid and starting facts known. And George don't owe anyone anything if anything we owe him and anyone one that has helped them thru any means of communication. George if you're watching god speed god bless start happy and healthy
Really appreciate the info.. Have been very concerned for both George and Bearded. George made me a far better distiller than I could have ever become without the great information that he freely gave. George will be sorely missed. Will look forward to the return of Bearded.
Thanks for the information! The best way to stop misinformation is to provide factual information. There is some truth to the saying "all good things must come to an end" and I hope we hear more from both of them, but it may also open the door to new creators. Education along with entertainment is why I watch all of you guys. Thanks for all you do!
Thanks brother, I was ready for someone to say it. These two have made an indelible mark on this hobby and so many of us will never forget them. Cheers or prose thank you
Jesse, class act as always. Very much appreciate the update. For me, like most of us I’m sure, the lack of information had started bringing concern. Glad to hear Bearded will be back (love that guy). As for George, I’m so relieved he’s well and enjoying himself. I really enjoy his content and I’ve only gone through a fraction of it so far, so I’ve still got a lot of gems to unearth. To those of us in the community: I feel so grateful that someone like George has graced us with his knowledge, wisdom, experience, know how, and endearing personality. I shudder to think of how many of us would have missed out on this if there was no UA-cam or if George had decided not to make videos. He has brought to all of us a priceless treasure trove of knowledge and I hope he knows how much this means to all of us. I would love to see him return, even if it was for just an occasional video, but if this is permanent, perhaps a farewell message from the legend himself. Thanks again Jesse, and thanks for the great channel list.
Man, you and George are like family, I am always with your video on my phone or laptop at work. I am happy to have found you guys on UA-cam! I am about to start a business thanks to you and George.
Great information from Jessie! This video takes out all the guesswork from my head. I really appreciate You publishing this missing piece of information, about our two absent friends. In a very positive angle, I sometimes refer to the three of you as, The three wise men… 😊 Happy distilling 😉
I’m sorry I’m not much of a participant but it’s sad that the Trinity has been broken up. Bearded was great for beer ideas which got distilled until he went to distillation. George was the Science behind it all, and you were my distillation guy. Now that I’ve discovered pure clean ethanol I can’t do anything else. No heads or tales. I learned a lot from you 3. I’m really into corn. Beats are alright to. Tried apple cider, carrots, rum, banana. I shoot for corn but also ferment what ever is going to go to waist. All 3 of you gave me the knowledge I have today and I appreciate it very much.
Thanks for putting out this video, brother. I really appreciate it. I am in the editing phase for my latest vid right now, so I should have it up soon.

He will be missed. But it's so good to see their legacy live on through others willing to share their story.
Keep it up mate🤙⚗️🌾🥃
George helped me immensely when I first thought of joining the hobby. I appreciate what he did and hope he is doing great.
Between you and George, I learned a TON in a short amount of time. Appreciate all you guys have done. Wishing him the best. He's like that cool shop teacher in high school.
Always appreciate and respect the free info that we have been given. We got far more value than we paid for. George has earned any rest that he wants.
Thanks Jesse
For the update, and we'll said!
And George if your reading these, well done and missing your videos.
But understand✌️
Thanks Jesse. I was wondering and worried about George. Didn't know what was going on. I'm a Patreon with Bearded and he's been letting us know that more content will be coming. Thanks again.
You did this video in a tasteful and respectful way. Good job and thanks for the update. These guys helped me get through the worst of my cancer, love for them to know.
Good up-date, thanks Jessie! I just hope George is safe and well! And hope he returns some day. He really helped me out as well!
Keep it up very much appreciated
thanks for the shoutout man.
Thanks for the heads up and plugging the other channels! Cheers!
Thank you.
Love and blessings to all.. Thank you 🙏..... to all you guys...
Thank you for clearing things up about George. I really enjoy all his videos he put out! And thank you for all your information and video's!
George pointed me to your channel. Much respect for him. I’m not a pet squirrel depending on him for food. I still watch videos from all 3! 👌
100% agree with you and your attitude in the video 👍👍
George has always been my ‘go to’ when it comes to distilling.
Yep and Uncle G clearly did it for the Love of the hobby,
Thanks for the update Jesse. like so many George is the reason im in the hooby. The only channel that exsplained the science in depth. Its the only reason my product is drinkable and i dont have a mess in my wifes kitchen.
Thank you for the information. I wish them both health and wellbeing. Keep up the good work, my friend.
Absolutely agreed! Thank you to George, bearded .. and you. Without you guys i never would have tried this. We owe you guys, if anything! Whatever you guys do and decide; right on and all the best to you!
Thank you for taking the time to advise on what is known about George.
George was of Mucho help to All of us ! I talked to him om the phone 📱 & he was AWESOME ! I hope he is Well and HAPPY 😊! THANK YOU GEORGE DUNCAN !!!
Thanks for the update please give George my best and let him know I will miss him
Missed George and I'm really glad you made this video.
Thank you and my best to you and both George and Bearded. Taking a break now and then is needed.
Thank you for being Candid and starting facts known. And George don't owe anyone anything if anything we owe him and anyone one that has helped them thru any means of communication. George if you're watching god speed god bless start happy and healthy
Thanks for the info Jesse. We need to figure out a way as a You Tube community to rally behind George and encourage him to come back. He's the man !!!
Really appreciate the info.. Have been very concerned for both George and Bearded. George made me a far better distiller than I could have ever become without the great information that he freely gave. George will be sorely missed. Will look forward to the return of Bearded.
George is legendary. I learned a lot from him. I hope he's enjoying his rest and he comes back when he's ready.
Good to hear that everyone is ok. Love George, hope he enjoys the break.
Man, you and George are like family, I am always with your video on my phone or laptop at work. I am happy to have found you guys on UA-cam!
I am about to start a business thanks to you and George.
Great information from Jessie!
This video takes out all the guesswork from my head.
I really appreciate You publishing this missing piece of information,
about our two absent friends.
In a very positive angle, I sometimes refer to the three of you as,
The three wise men… 😊
Happy distilling 😉
Respect to you, Jesse for the respect you have paid to Bearded and to George. You are a stroke of humanity in a chaotic world.
Your all amazing thank you very much for all you've done I've learned so much from you all
