For all you new people put the watery type vegetables or fruits on the bottom. Harder vegetables and fruit on top. Alway put ice on Top gravity will pull it down.
Thank you sooooo much! I just got mine today and I'm very excited about it. My boss had had one for 10 years and t's running super strong. I too have been wanting a high end blender, specifically a Vitamix. I jumped on this specific deal because Costco had it for $399 minus $100 manufacturers rebate. It also came with all the extra attachments. The other models that cost more is because of all the bells and whistles. We all have learned that all those little extra functions can and most likely cause complications.
this video was heaven sent !!! Was looking into a vitamix for years as well and had a tough time making a decision. This made just completely sold me on getting this model and sticking to a manual classic look rather than the techy $600. Thank you so much!!! ❤
I know I’m super late on this but I thought I’d pop a tip here if you see it. Someone mentioned putting little fabric feet on the base so it slides easily forward on your counter so you don’t have to fiddle with getting the jar on under the cupboard.
I bought this at Costco Thanks Giving week and am just using it today. I LOVE it, this was a wonderful deal. Thank you for the “right to the point” review.
Great review, thanks! Got mine from Amazon for $250 on BF (minus the PCA.) It's ok, I'm coming from a high end Cuisinart (at the time) I bought 8 years ago that still works well. I don't like the lid whatsoever on the E320, feels clumsy and awkward, and I prefer a glass container over the plastic like the Cuisinart has. I'll keep it because it blends really well, but I still prefer juicing, and for $60 bucks, you can't beat the Hamilton Beach wide mouth juicer, I just love it. Cleanup is relatively easy on that juicer, it's just the centrifuge basket that really requires effort, about 2-3 minutes of scrubbing with a paper towel (a brush takes even longer.)
The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
I really find your video useful, and informative. After I watched it, I headed out to Costco and buy one. I have been wanting this blender for a very long time. As you have said there, I also did debate about should I invest in a more expensive model or just focus on getting the one which also blends just like the others with less burning in the pocket. Looking forward to blending away my 100 pounds excess. Thank you so much for your presentation.
I had a Ninja that lasted about 4 years....then it just started to smell like burnt plastic. Took it back to Costco and, amazingly, they refunded us. Love Costco! We got this Vitamix model too and I like it. The Ninja was louder actually. I would like if the blades would come off. It's not very easy to wash by hand.
Oh I am crying. Got my E310 blender two days ago from amazon for $370 and it only came with three pieces, base motor, the 48oz container and the tamper. I didn’t even bother to check at Costco which i normally shop one every two weeks. I hate to return it after I used it for two days.
People, remember - more electronics, more crap likely to go bad. This design was intended for the under cabinet fit. It's '22 and it's my 3rd. Just picked up the set today (11/28) for $299 on sale from Vitamix website. The blade on it is 4" vs standard 3" and it's a bit stronger at 2.2 vs 2. Also, it carries 7 vs 5 year warranty. The first one is from 5200 series more than 10 years ago and still going strong. After losing the tall carafe I replaced it with a generic replacement off Amazon and it worked great. I'm liking having an extra one with shortie carafe (why I bought this one). Oddly, I find the sound satisfying. One thing about the shorter carafe is how it catches air - compared to my original tall). It's more than enough to do most basic things one needs including dough, sorbets, raw hot soups, etc. This model was dine for Costco but still found on Vitamix website - with set @ $550 before clearance. Inverting cups is a bit silly for very runny drinks, but no biggie especially if all's included in the $299 'just blender' purchase. Makes a nice housewarming present.
Have you made nut butters in your e320? I’ve heard the larger carafe isn’t as good for nuts since it’s wide compared to the e310. Not sure though would love your thoughts. Thank you for a year video!
When I watched this video 2 hours ago I was on my way to buy one at Costco. They sold out. You think it’s still worth it to purchase online? I’ve been thinking about it for awhile lol
Nice video Great blender I have one and getting another for different property. Black friday special on their site. TIP: Try not turn the dial all the way up, if you can often. You can burn out the motor more quickly using high settings often. The pulse function, used sparingly, may may give similar results as the high settings. Peace
Thanks, Melissa for this video. I too have been researching the right Vitamix to buy and I was just about to pull the plug on one of those fancy, digital ones and I decided to look into the E320 when I saw your video and that Costco was offering it with that extra PCA I got sold. I see that they are having that same promotion now so I am going over there to get mine. Also shout out to Albert Cadiz, a former rep who made a comment regarding your review. Thank you.
Currently 399.99 at Costco. You got a good deal. Hoping for price reduction end of month. (Black Friday) Great video. Loved the follow up response for usage and cost.
@@happypiano8397 Thanks for the feedback. I couldn't wait for the Black Friday sale. Purchased the A2500 at BB&B for $399. Took advantage of the 20% off. Just my luck missing the real sales. No extras included.
It doesn’t. You need to buy that separately. The blade is different in the dry canisters where it makes an outside vortex affect pushing the dry material outwards compared to inwards.
Nice video 👍 Thanks 🤩✝️ I bought my vitamix ascent 2500i last year from John Lewis..it was on offer around(£100) less.... from £549 to £440 same price as a2300i so I went for a2500i with 3 program setting and it’s amazing 🤩👍.. really worth it as needed large powerful blender for lots of protein shakes and smoothies.
Thanks for this video. I noticed you put the ice on top, as oppsed to the recommendation of ice and frozen ingriendts first. Was this by error ? And have you tried it the other way and felt any difference ? Thank you
Thank you for an excellent demonstration. You got a really good deal. I think the extras price is $99.00. Just checked Costco’s website and they do have what you got, but is $399.99. I’ll keep on waiting to see if they sell it later for $299.00
Informative. I agree simple the better v/s the high end models. I’m in the process to buy one but missed the sale at Costco. Will purchase this model anyway. Thanks
Hey, our family is in the market for a new blender. After extensive research and loads of recommendations we have narrowed it down to either the ninja or the vita mix. Truthfully the Vitamix comes with higher recommendations. So now that we are trying to decide on a specific model. We live in Canada and Costco has a particular model on sale. Vitamix Explorian E320 + Personal Cup Adapter. On the Vitamix site they have a reconditioned model that is of great interest. Certified Reconditioned Venturist V1200. So now the million dollar question is which one do we select. Anyone have any additional thoughts, advice or suggestions. Any particular features that make one or the other stand out. It's a big investment and we want to make sure we make the right choice.
Not a useful video really. Trying to find out all the things it does to see if its worth buying. My 11 year old blender makes a smoothie just as fast ........ with less noise.
i bought one today in costco, tomorrow go return.I use oster seven years and still better than new vitamix.this model is so poor quality and too noisy.i don’t believe company like vitamix make this crap

I just bought one today! I appreciate all the “extras” with base unit’s high-powered simplicity.
I got this for $180 on sale with the 64oz low profile container, hell of a deal. Works with the tall classic containers too!
Wow. Is where u got to deal?
where did you find one on sale for that price?
@@TytoPhodilus it’s on sale now!

I was hoping to learn how to use the personal cup adapter since I didn’t receive a manual or recipe book with my unit.

it is meant to wash by itself. fill half way up with warm water and a drop or 2 of dish soap. blend on high for 30 secs. dump and rinse :)
Just bought one today and I’m super excited to try it
This review video is AWESOME! We’re on our way to Costco to pick one up now! Thank you!

Thank you, I am considering one too and it was great to see what was in the box and the workings of it!
hey Melissa, how is the blender holding up? Any complaints? Have this model at my Costco and considering to purchase it.
We just got this at our local Costco here and it was on sale for 299.

Can the 8oz cup work on the e320expplorian , thank yo
