The prominence of up the beanstalk made orcish bowmaster much better so that being banned slightly diminish orcish bowmasters impact. Fury being banned makes X/1s better making bowmaster better. Leyline binding is less unplayable. Solitude is still great but much less powerful. I still think the grief is just way to powerful and it severely limited what type of decks you could play. Honestly hymn to tourach is less miserable than grief. Beanstalk at least allowed the chance to build back.

That's a great way to think of how bowmaster impacts modern with and without beanstalk and with more x/1 creatures running around.
Grief does creature more feels bad moments with being forced to start with 5 cards but fury felt more oppressive. Together it was just a lose lose for everyone else.

Sad to see Fury out of the Meta, would have preferred to see Grief out. But looks like Fury as a bigger problem.
I’m glad Karn is out of Pioneer though.

Yeah it'll be interesting to watch the meta over the next couple weeks/month to see how much grief still has an impact but im excited to see a meta without fury at least for a couple months until MH3 destroys the meta again lol
