  • This is the biggest RC model plane that I ever build and fly. The wingspan is 3000mm or almost 10ft. Use almost entirely 5mm foam board as the build material. In this video also the first time I made propeller spinners with 3D printer, and make foam wheels and firewall with laser cutter. I use Creality Ender-3 V2 Neo for 3D printer and 10W CR-Laser Module to convert Ender Printer into laser engraver and cutter. Those tools help me alot and I got best results. I also 3D print some of detail parts, I will share all the STLs along with the plans and decal when they are ready, please wait about a week for the files to be ready, but I hope it will be sooner.

I once again realized how incredible you are. You create absolutely stunning airplanes with rather simple material. I follow your channel for some time now and you enhanced and improved your building methods (and the quality of your videos!) a lot over the years. You inspired me to design and build airplanes out of foamboard myself and stop complaining about the hobbyshops not having the Kit i want :D
I am very happy I found your channel a few years ago, I am excited for your upcoming projects and I wish you all the best for your future!
    Greetings from Germany

    I was not disappointed.

To build such an airplane, in this size, looking very scale in such a simple manner is just genious! Well done - again!
And it flies so scale. I would add a slightly stronger wing spar.
This one is definitely on my to build list! (together with the 747)
    Congratulations on a great achievement!

Beautiful rendition of Rescue 1704. Grew up watching her and her sisters at CGAS Sacramento flying around the area. The growl of those Allisons and those 4-blade props is forever ingrained in my memory.

Nice done to drop the consumption of motors removing propeller ! Hold idea and engine must kow consum a lot less ! 😁
    Veey nice flight well done

Fantastic! IRL if you have to lose a prop #4 is best. #1 goes into #2, #2 goes into the fuselage, #3 goes into #4, #4 just goes into the weeds. The quickest way to lose a prop is pitch lock which leads to over speed of the prop, then you over torque the motor truss mount and twist it off. Overall not a good situation.

Should be able to fly on one. We used to shoot approaches in real ones when I was a USCG pilot. We would feather 1, 3, and 4 and shoot the approach on #2. Then bring the other three back up for pull up and fly out.

I am fascinated for this build Julius!, that same issue with a propeller happen to me with my second twin engine plane a "kind of" Fokker F-27 , i manage to flight it back to the field with a single engine and lot of rudder. Scary no doubt! So i congratulate you for your pilot skills too! 😃 The plane really fly like a trainer!

It's a common practice in Real Life for long range maritime patrol planes like the P=6 Orion to typically shut down one engine to conserve fuel. In Real Life the C=130 will fly very well on only 2 engines.
