    1. Be interested in him or her rather than interesting. Resist the urge to overimpress, as it will come on too strong. Difference in getting to know them versus getting you to like them.
    2. High engagement, low attachment to it working out. Overinvestment scares away. You have options going on.
    3. Be selective. "I'm open to love, and I don't rush into new relationships."
    4. Own your standards; you won't get with just anyone.
    5. Have a life you love outside of him. Learn something new and travel to bring yourself alive. This alive energy is contagious.
Much better than playing cool and uninterested!

Great video - thank you! I love the line: "Standards are sexy." What makes a man attractive to me? I would say: Vulnerability is sexy. Intelligence is sexy. Kindness is sexy. Humility is sexy.

Mat, i love your advice. But could you give a bit more advice to women who already got the man? How to keep growing this relationship in a healthy way. How to move towards marriage or kids, etc? Thanks 🙏🏻

I’d also love to see more content about this 🙌🏼 I started a new relationship a few months ago and I’m interested in that long term healthy game 💕✨Although I think owning my standards and living my best life are two tips that apply to any stage of the relationship.

@@melimevivzla congrats! Those are great tips. Especially keeping your standards since there are a lot of people who are so afraid of losing a relationship that they allow things they would've never allowed before.
Best wishes for your new relationship ❤️

When a man treats others with respect and kindness...I like and respect this! It tells me something about his values.

When I first met my boyfriend he felt like 'home' immediately. But bear in mind that we had spoken on the phone for several weeks and communicated through emails and texts before that, to get to know each other. He was open and honest about what he was looking for, his standards etc. I found that interesting because my previous experiences were the typical wining and dining to win you experiences. I respected that he was willing to scare off the wrong woman. Lol

Ok I may not comment often, but today am deciding to give Matt's his flowers 🌺🌺
I have watched and subscribed to lot of relationship channels and ONLY MATT BOGGS Channel always feel Relatable, Practical and Result oriented for me!!!😢😢😢
He's walked the path, has years of experience and IS AN AUTHORITY in this field!!
Matt's I just want you to stay focused, don't give up, don't look at your UA-cam video analysis or statistics, Ignore the often low likes and comments and just keep dishing out those sumptuous meals!
Remember people are watching, needing help everyday with no one to assist! And YES, THANK YOU!

I know a good way to make a man interested in you:
Listen to him without interrupting when he has something to say.. Maybe you get to know something more about him. When you say something following, it could be to repeat something of what he said. Guys love women who listen to them and remember what they have said, I'm sure.

I'm so tired of guys! I know it's wrong to say that everyone is the same but it seems to me that everyone has the same red flags. This just makes me want to isolate and put myself out of the whole dating-relationship arena.

I was at that place at one time too. When I got tired of holding that belief, I joined one of Mat's affordable programs - Cracking the Man Code. His teachings helps you heal the deep core wounds you have so that you can attract sustaining love. I hope you are able to move out of this isolating place and change your beliefs. There are plenty of good guys out there who want what we want. Sometimes we just need to be shown the way to get what we want. May you be blessed and find your way.

Matt, first thank you for what you do! You have gotten me through a lot of bad romances. I look forward a man who is interesting. I want him to have a good social life and hobbies of his own. It doesn't matter what those hobbies are, it gives me something to converse over and learn new things myself. The man I am seeing has a lot of the same hobbies I like, but I can learn and see different elements of our mutual hobbies.

Hey Mat! It would be extremely helpful if when teaching and explaining the concept of energy put towards selectivity @5:36-5:37 is advise that a man should be using towards the woman, or the advise that a woman should be using towards the man? It would be extremely helpful if you could be more specific as to whether the main focus of this advice is directed more to the man or the woman? Because by the sounds of it, it sounds like advice that would be more appropriate for the man, seeing as it is not the woman's duty or a role to do the pursuing or courting in the beginning of dating and a possible new relationship.

I have a great friend, who is Just A Friend. We have a lot in common, but he's just enjoying the friendship while I WISH HE WAS MY MAN!
How do I make him see me more than a friend without scaring him, chasing him off or screwing my friendship with me?😢😢
How can he possible move from been a platonic friend to a romantic friend?
He truly ticks all my boxes!😩😩
    Please I need urgent help🥴🙏

Oh yeah, and one more friendly but highly beneficial piece of advice and suggestion, would be do state in the title, either make him or make her Chase you, not "them."but you know very well and so do a lot of other people that it is not the woman's job to chase any man at all. It is the man's role by nature and hardwiring like you've mentioned, to do the pursuing, initiating chasing and courting. So when do you do create your next video, do please consider labeling in the title more specifically the gender. The reason why I brought this up to your attention, is because I've noticed the majority of your podcast have to do with giving the relationship coaching and advice to women. Okay thank you for your time and consideration!

Mat, I'm going to watch this again later; cause there is a lot for me to ponder. A way of being that really attracts me to a man is when he is chivalrous. And boy oh boy, my natural instinct has always been to be protective of my man as well.
But I've got a conundrum for you. I've been a widow for 4+ yrs now. I've never wanted to be alone, I was ready to be with someone new 3 months after my husband's death. Also, 2 weeks before my husband's workplace death, I became physically disabled. I cannot sit. And I can't stand for long periods of time. I spend a lot of time laying in my bed, or side laying in the reclined passenger seat of a car. So chances are the guy is going to be laying down with me on the first or second date; "Here's my bed. but that doesn't mean we're having sex," lol. Any advice on this messed up situation, laying down in a bed with a guy so soon?? Mat, it would be amazing if you replied and/or addressed some of these problems that disabled daters face. Though I think more disabled people are going to resonate with a situation where they have to be seated a lot, whereas I cannot sit. Please be the first UA-camr Dating Expert that dares to attempt to answer my question. Thank you Mat!!

What makes a man attractive to me? A big cuddly teddybear who can love me for who and what I am and has a heart of gold. 💛 That’s all there is but so hard to find. 😅

Man I was talking to for a year on social media wanted to meet and wanted to have sex on the first date. I said no. He scoffed, said I was ridiculous, then said okay I will wait until the 2nd date but no longer. He also said he refuses to wear a condom if we did have sex. 😵 The way he was talking wasn't like he had been for a year. Shocked me.
