It took me over 10 ancient city's to find 1 silence armour trim. You have no idea how lucky you were. Congratulations too 👍
The rarest item is Deepslate emerald but that’s ore. But the armor trim may be up there with the emerald ore to be the rarest item in the game so far. Also, love the content.

In my 1.20 world I decided to makeover a Woodland Mansion and underneath it was an Ancient City and I found Silence Armor Trim! So cool!
Absolute incredible stuff! Makes me wish I could game this good lol
My favorite is netherite armor with quartz silence armor trim. It sorta looks like reinforced deepslate
Fav armor of all for me is Diamond with a gold silence trim it is kinda flashy but I love the color design and the brightness🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Paul if possible would make an armory full of your subscribers armor sets?
Also gotta say love the hardcore worlds I’ve been watching all the way back since chickpea the seafaring chicken was around❤❤❤❤ all hail the chickpea
A way I always find ancient cities is by finding a big mountain that is just below where the snow is and look for a strip of calcite and dig down.
You should do emerald silence trim
TBH "Ancient Deborahs" is one of my favorite things. I love saying the name of things wrong for the hell of it lol

Ancient debris is most common in soul sand valleys
My most FAVORITE out of all the armor trims is also obviously the Silence trim. For 1. It has the most details out of all of them, 2. The trim looks *ABSOLUTELY AMAZING* with the gold and redstone, and 3. It's just the best trim out of all of them period!!!

My personal favourite armourtrim is the dune armour trim ( from desert temples) with some redstone to make a nice red-on-black colour combo
Quick Tip for mining Old Debra mine/TNT mine along a chunk border. Your chances of finding Old Debra will massively increase as there is a limit on how much Debra can show up in a single chunk so by going along the border you technically double your chances of finding some.

That is indeed a very nice looking chest plate that you will hardly be wearing because of using the elytra.

Day 2 of asking paul to build a totem farm inside a garbage can to flex that he has them but doesnt need them, to make an added benifit make all the totems spit out into fire to be destroyed so you dont feel inclined to use them

edit- i wanted to play minecraft watching this video and because my sound isn’t working i’m water mining and pirating. i didn’t not expect it i broke the chest and got back to my boat and it had two!
edit 2- new world same tactic i got a chest with two templates again. i think if it is a full ship there’s is a very high chance of finding them

The reason that you find them under mountains Paul is because that they are coded that way

I would also hate farming ancient debris if I would do it your way^^ I recommend to dig at height 14 and even with a pickaxe it won't take you longer than 30 mins to find enough debris for a whole armor 🙏
Silence lined with quartz or redstone also put unbreaking and mending on ur shield sense this is a no totem run
