  • John Deere’s latest version for their loader joystick. Essentially mirroring how a wheel loader would be operated. Super straight forward. Making long days more manageable and lessening fatigue.

Alot simpler and more precise to use power/auto quad trans for loader work. That way you actually can control functions with each limb, rather than having limbs on holiday and others with 3 things to do. Eg coming up close to trialer to tip off and you need brakes, your right foot is on gas pedal plus needing brakes. Yes I know they decelerate on the gas pedal well, but you are going to be less efficient. Put 2 tractors side by side one with mechanical trans and one with ivt for loader work, I garrentee you the mechanical is more efficient and simpler to use.

Be nice if that forward back switch on the joystick has a neutral position.

Not really needed with the command pro. It only moves if you hit the gas pedal or command pro stick. It’s different in that way than a regular IVT.

Can this be added to a older generation 6r?

I don’t believe so. Even though the loaders are the same model number when ordering there is a difference in them if they are prior to ‘22. I believe the older controllers won’t run the new stick. Specifically the direction portion of the stick.

What about 7r or 8r tractors?
