Finally I managed to get all the 10th anniversary achievements. Whenever I got stuck I watched your walkthroughs and it worked. Thanks for the help and inspiration!
Just beat this after like 50 tries… I found that instead of taking the top fork when routing to the base, taking the left fork allowed the path for reinforcements to be clear and they could be actively reinforcing without having to tax my pathetic apm. Thank you for your content. Going back and getting these achievements has been fun.
14:26 your nuke up above the Xanthos platform ramp whereby Nova is still at the bottom of the ramp. On my copy of SC2 my Nova can never nuke uphill without going up to the top of the ramp, where she will be clobbered by the tanks and other nasty's up there. So how do you get Nova to aim a nuke up ramp without her having to go up to the top of the ramp? Oh never mind, I see control center scan, I'm sooo noob...hari kari...oooghh, uhhhhhgh, zzzzzzzspluuuuhhhh (dying now)
Right before Nova started the Nuke cast, I selected my Orbital Commands (Command Centers) & used the Scanner Sweep ability on the high-ground area. The scan reveals that area of the map, giving Nova vision without needing to be at the top of the ramp.
17:40 to get the Achievement board popups, since you already achieved that b4 on Brutal, did you have to do this in another account? Or can you reset SC2 somehow to rewind it to show the Achievement popups? Or do you have to rewind your cpu system calendar clock to a prior date?
I used another account, one that did not have the achievement previously. As far as I know, there is no way to rewind or reset in order to get an achievement multiple times on a single account.
@@IndigosGaming ya but you said you already used another spare account for your Brutal achievement. So do you have >3 accounts >3 paid copies of SC2 Nova?
Although I have only done the achievement twice (my primary account was for Brutal, & normal was with an alternate account), you are correct. I have multiple accounts, and purchased the campaigns, including Nova Covert Ops, for each.
Do you think you could do Curiosity Killed The Zergling on Normal Difficulty? I've been meaning to ask---it's the only 10th Anniversary achievement I haven't done.
