Yo this is Brooks I was the one who sent in highlights for a sponsorship, I love your videos
I was admiring how fast those skiers were going around the 1 minute mark and then you said it was 9am and it all made sense. LETSGOOOOOO
Awesome advice! If i may share my personal anecdote, when bending at the knees to handle off groomers, go lower than you think. For example, I keep having problems riding bumpy terrains because I did not realize I was standing more straighter than I thought even though my knees were bent. So I tried to go even lower than I'm comfortable with and all of sudden I have even more control.
Of course, I am aware of bending too much to the point of not bending anymore. It turns out that I need to bend so much for that to happen it is actually very hard to get to that point unintentionally. It's way easier to stand up unintentionally than to be at max bend.
Thank you Tommie!
One thing that I do that I haven't seen many talk about (which means that it's probably encased in some other tip and I'm just too dumb to realize it) is that I actually open my hips up SLIGHTLY (rotating my hips counterclockwise as a regular-footed rider). I find that this, combined with the weight on the front foot, allows for the rear foot/leg to trail and adapt to the terrain A LOT easier than when my hips are completely parallel with the board edge. I also feel that it makes steering a lot easier, too, so I use it quite a bit when riding trees. Thanks so much for the helpful video!
I ordered the tech hoodie. Super excited!
I appreciate you my dood!
It's incredible. I've clocked 12 days on it and it's held up against all my BS. Multiple slides on ice, me cooking in the mountains parking lot, rolling around, all the friction on the sleeve cuffs etc
Beautiful weather n nice tips
Thanks for the info Tommy. Gonna try it this next week.
Good info.
Great filming and riding.
Dem sum Fire beats yo ! Nice Video .Thank You
Was this filmed this past Tuesday? I think I saw you at Copper!
Yessss! It was lol
@@tommiebennett awesome! I was on a lift lol but I’ll try to stop and say hi if I get the chance next time.
Any recommendations on some nice magnetic goggles that are anti fog?
Also what do you think of the NS Proto Slinger board?
Looking to pick up your mits.
Yooo’ I spent 45 months designing and producing a magnetic goggle! Check them out here : shopbenetek.com
And the board, I’ve never rode that board so not totally sure
@@tommiebennett sweet I'll do that!
K if you dont know that board. What do you recommend for a snow board then that can hit the whole mountain and freestyle. Hitting side hits and flexible enough for butters and spins? Our local mountains park is quite small so treating the whole mountain as a park is my best option. I ride duck +15, -15, Currently just got back into the sport 2 y ago after 20y and using my flat old Vision snow board from the 90s. I'm an intermediate rider.
Thank you 👍🇮🇹
Those off piste are over run, boarded Zermatt 1st week of april and the off piste was 8" to 12" of powder.
Wow my favorite video
You should go catch an edge
i’ve just realized i’ve never rode groomed terrain
Better to ride off piste than to ride piste off.
