A few years ago, maybe he could have played Tomic and had some sort of a competition... But yeah, Rafa now can easily beat Tomic now lol 😛
He did play against Tomic. Remember when said "destroy him" in a post-match interview? Yeah, that was a Nadal vs. Tomic match.
