Wow, you have bought a Yamaha Genos 2! As you may know I nearly bought a Tyros 5 in October 2022 but personally if I did get the Tyros 5 I would have no intention of upgrading ( same with a Tyros 1 ). Genos 2 is way out of my price range for sure but I will likely stick to using VST instruments like Halion 7 and Kontakt as midi sequencing is more my kind of thing. But I did do a multi track cover of Stand by your man on my original Yamaha PSS-790 way back in 1993 after hearing this song on the Kit-Kat advert and to be honest some of my music sounds better on more primitive keyboards but it's cool to hear other people playing these songs I played many years ago on a more modern keyboard like Genos or Genos 2.
I've never really been into MIDI on PC (which is weird as I'm the type that should be into that), I just like the immediacy of sitting down with a style. There are several awesome song styles on G2, including some weird ones that I love but seem out of place (like Nirvana, Supergrass and other 90's stuff). I like recording multitracks and sequencing them - but I always end up doing it as audio files and not MIDI. You should upload your version of Stand By Your Man.
@@RonsonDenmark I have never really been good at memorizing a song or the chord sequence to use a style to play a song cover but I do use styles for making arrangements of public domain music like traditional Christmas carols as that is an easy way to play a Christmas carol in a particular style. Genos 2 has quite a lot of new styles including many more 80s styles and it's the first arranger keyboard to have an FM synthesizer so it does also have quite a few sounds from the Yamaha DX7. Thanks for suggesting that I upload my version of Stand by your man, I will see what I can do but I will let you know as soon as it's up as I still have to find some suitable video footage.
Very nice. No frills, just honest music. Thank you.

Tillykke med Genos 2. Håber at du bliver glad for den. Godt spillet :)
Jo tak i lige i måde
Går ud fra du har bemærket flere af schlager-rytmerne passer til seebach? :)
