Friendly fire with missles is not uncommon, it happens to many of the armed forces, the US had a issue with missles misidenfying friendly aircraft and shooting them down.
This was just a dry run to check Pakistan Air defence capabilities and since the missile has cruised happily inside the Pakistan territory to much distance, a lot of information has been gathered already 👍👍🤣
