The amazing thing is that this song "Paper Planes" on the 35xxxv album sounds awful. I don't have any musical background to explain why it's awful; other fans say that's because there's lots of auto-tuning in the song and it's over-produced. Melody awful, sound awful. After hearing this song once or twice, I avoided it like the plague, I only watched this live recently and ta-da! OOR can transform an awful song into such a great and fun performance live.

Also the voice of Kellin Quinn doesn't sound so great imo, and the mix of the two sounds really weird. And the lyrics are not very deep or good... I know that the band was kind of forced to make it a featuring, and if I remember correct they were not too happy of the song itself. So that explains why it sounds so bad... I don't know many fans who actually listen to that song anymore, and even less who like it for real xD But yes, as you say, they made this performance so playful and fun that they got me into singing along this song I hate. That's OOR's power x'D
If you want to see one ok rock being cute again, you should totally watch this performance of じぶんROCK. Taka has a little slip up in the middle and you can see Toru, Ryota and Tomoya laughing.
