It has free trading 0 cost but in the Philippines to buy and sell you charge 1.5% so when you buy your already underwater. I own refits in the US that pay 5% and over 6% dividend. One is a monthly payer the other is quarterly. Plus the liquidity on stocks is very bad on most companies so if you want to buy or sell a million pesos of a stock it will change the price and sometimes dramatically.

Right now a good buy is BDO around 90 pesos a share in a few years it will be 150. The only good bank out there.
