Love the high bf vocals. Especially since the soundfont used likely only goes up to a certain point meaning that most of those notes are slide notes from lower notes which takes a lot of effort. So props to the music team for taking the time out of their day to make bf hit crazy notes.

No Party: I already mentioned this in the previous video, but it's based on the "Piracy is No Party!" thing for Mario Party DS. Powerdown and Demise: Based on Mario 85', a work-in-progress horror game based heavily on Sonic: PC Port. The opponent in these two songs is MX, the main antagonist of the game. On another note, the Luigi in the background of Powerdown's name is actually Lucas. Promotion: Based on Greenio's Super Mario 64: Classified series on UA-cam. The song is named after the *promo* show in this series, Nintendo Mania, with Mario as the host. The second half of the song switches the opponent to another character in the series: Stanley, who is also the main antagonist of Classified. Abandoned: Also based on SM64 Classified, but focused more about the L is Real rumor I mentioned in the previous video, though instead of Luigi suffocating in a fountain, he floats above it like a puppet on strings. The End: Also based on Classified. The opponent of the song is simply known as "Costume," who is likely inspired by the Spanish Mario creepypasta, Mario Bros Asesino. Truthfully, I hope this mod gets another update. The ending feels like there's something missing or more to come. Maybe they could do something like Pico find them lost in hidden codes or something in like a sorta limbo? Idk, either way, this was fun to watch! Great stuff as usual, Merg! That first massive Mario from Demise and Powerdown is MX, different to M in that is is actually totally insane as well as being nearly unstoppable in terms of durability and raw strength.
Merg is taking some time with Infernum playthrough, so i started one of my own! So far really happy with mage, really powerful early game. By the way, day 375 of asking Merg to play Crosscode.
For the record: you CAN turn Luigi mode on AND off MID-SONG by selecting the “call Luigi” multiple times. ALSO the ONLY instant death part of “Unbeatable” is the first “don’t miss” part; after that, you can miss, and you’ll be fine👍🏻
It's definitely a tonal shift to have played through the mod, playing through Unbeatable and thinking "that was a pretty cool song, and really fun charting" Never even noticed the "Don't Miss" mechanic. And then watch playthroughs that go "This is insane, way too difficult, I could not beat this in a million years!"
I love friday night funkin so much. I genuinely cried at the ending. I got so attached to the happy endings of BF and GF in mods that it caught me off guard so much. BF was a brave son of a gun still fighting till the end, GF dead, no hope yet he still fought. And to that i salute you Boyfriend. You deserved better you weren’t even part of the dearest problems.
The scribble method on no party doesn’t work. DJ Hallyboo deals damage based on exactly how well you tracing the message. I think people started assuming this worked because DJ Hallyboo’s attack isn’t fatal, so people who are perfect at this game try the scribble method and when the hp is close to 0, they don’t miss and can build their hp back up. Additionally, the player should focus on hitting notes when they appear and abandon the message, even if it’s not finished. Well done merg!
It's not that it didn't work, it works but only during V2, in the Hotfix (2.0.1) they balanced its mechanics. It's easier to write but now it hurts based on how much you go off the edge (that is, how much you scratched on the white part)
I remember the first section that your not allowed to miss, its actually the only one. So if you were able to do that part, the rest would be piece of cake
They could make a sequel where pico tries to escape or dd and mm go in to find out what happened to their daughter, its not like bf and gf dying signals the end

You have done everything. You can revisit the songs by freeplay as usual. But you have done everything. The only things that are left are the old version of the songs that are in freeplay, but you don't have to do those.
Fun detail, if you make it to the end of unbeatable without botplay, it ends in a tie as the health icons are in the middle on the health bar at the bottom of your screen. So no matter what you do, you cannot beat nintendo
I find it interesting how Ultra M didn't want to actually kill boyfriend but he had no choice as he stood in the way of M's revenge. The credits explain how he kinda wished that he didn't have to kill boyfriend and that if the circumstances were different, they might've not been enemies
The more you we have face off against in the end is called costume. Basically, it's fun f, but the killer is wearing a Mario costume instead and for the ending section. He's holding a knife to girlfriend. Originally the song will end in with girlfriend dying, but that was changed.
No Party (Vs DJ Hallyboo): The scribbling used to work, but it got patched. Powerdown (Vs MX): The thing in the back is a cloud. That's not a Koopa, that's Toad. That's not Luigi, that's Lucas. It's not an illusion, Gf got snapped like a KitKat. Demise (MX go VROOOOOM): That's not the Mario from the beginning, he's the no longer canonical but now fanonical best friend of Lord X. Boyfriend and Girlfriend are running on life systems which only tick down from "canon" deaths such as Gf's in Powerdown, so Gf did actually come back. I don't know much about SM64 Classified so I won't be able to say anything factual or guaranteed accurate in Classified Castle. Promotion (Vs Stanley): The promotion means advertisement, not that you're in a new job position. Stanley is an Ai made to classify other Ais and materials, which also "kills" them in a way. Stanley hates his job, wanting nothing but to rest and be left alone, as seen in his text lyrics in the song. Abandoned (Vs Classified Luigi): This is one of the Ais that Stanley was forced to classify, drowning him. The colourful things are switches from Wet Dry World in Super Mario 64, which elevate and drop water to certain levels. Also, the mechanic for Abandoned is a bit buggy, where the water rises faster depending on your fps. The End (Vs Costume, aka Mike Robertson): He's not the real Mario, he's not even a Mario at all. He's a guy that got upset about a rigged competition that gave away a free Nintendo 64, so he put on a Mario costume and stabbed the competition organisers at their house as revenge (it was a family that organised it). I think in the end he kind of became like Golden Freddy mixed with Springtrap's backstory but Mariofied. All Stars (Vs Ultra M (Horror Mario), Omega, LG, W4R, Y0SH, Gf and the rest of the cast): Omega isn't a furry, it's the Tanooki power up. The entirety of Act 2 comprises of the playable characters of Super Mario 64 DS. Ultra M's lyrics in Act 3 is Ultra M trying to get Bf to commit suicide. There are no Goombas in the back of Act 4,just Thwomps, mushrooms, fire flowers, shells, item blocks and flagpoles. A Mad World Without You fun facts: The song is M having regret over killing Bf, as he never actually wanted to kill Bf, and was going to let him go. There are 2 technical endings, the happier stageplay ending in the credits, and the canon ending of Bf and Gf getting gutted like fish. There was originally going to be a secret song if you FC'd All Stars where Bf would escape, tell Daddy Dearest what happened then get shot by Daddy Dearest. Pico is not dead, but he's doomed to just wander M's realm for eternity now. With the point in the background of "It did release" is from the V2 teaser trailer on Funkkast. Unbeatable (Vs Mr SyS, Duck Hunt, Bowser, Smeck and Lakitu): The song is based on an Australian ad that many children found disturbing. Mr SyS (short for either System or Steal your Soul) is a business partner of M's, being partners with him before Daddy Dearest sealed M in the cartridge, which is why M wanted Gf dead, to get revenge on DD for betraying him. In the miss animation, Bf becomes static. Oh yeah, the song is 10 minutes and 36 seconds and was trending #3 on Twitter/X for 3 days. There are no checkpoints in the song, and you can turn off botplay by selecting call Luigi again. The flashes in the back is getting shot, it's your hp bar getting shot at. The only no miss section of the song is at the start with Mr SyS. You say it's impossible, but there are many people that have done this in 1 try. The way the fire bar works is that it's made entirely to keep you at half health. The Bullet Bills cover up your notes, preventing you from playing better. Also, this Bowser is based on his 8 bit appearance which is how he appeared in the ad. I call him Bitser. I forgot to mention it earlier, but Smeck is an enemy from the Wrecking Crew game (the game R.O.B comes from). Final fact; the entire song is actually unbeatable as it's implied that their score at the end is 1,000,000 while Bf's maximum score can go up to around 870,000. On top of that, the bar doesn't go past the middle.
I want to say, if you plan on playing another fnf game w/out mechanics, try the a and s keys on your left hand, and up and right arrow keys on your right hand, this helps so much.

Truthfully, I hope this mod gets another update. The ending feels like there's something missing or more to come. For the record: you CAN turn Luigi mode on AND off MID-SONG by selecting the “call Luigi” multiple times. ALSO the ONLY instant death part of “Unbeatable” is the first “don’t miss” part; after that, you can miss, and you’ll be fine👍🏻

It's definitely a tonal shift to have played through the mod, playing through Unbeatable and thinking "that was a pretty cool song, and really fun charting" Never even noticed the "Don't Miss" mechanic. And then watch playthroughs that go "This is insane, way too difficult, I could not beat this in a million years!"
I love friday night funkin so much. I genuinely cried at the ending. I got so attached to the happy endings of BF and GF in mods that it caught me off guard so much. BF was a brave son of a gun still fighting till the end, GF dead, no hope yet he still fought. And to that i salute you Boyfriend. You deserved better you weren’t even part of the dearest problems.
The scribble method on no party doesn’t work. DJ Hallyboo deals damage based on exactly how well you tracing the message. I think people started assuming this worked because DJ Hallyboo’s attack isn’t fatal, so people who are perfect at this game try the scribble method and when the hp is close to 0, they don’t miss and can build their hp back up. Additionally, the player should focus on hitting notes when they appear and abandon the message, even if it’s not finished. Well done merg!
It's not that it didn't work, it works but only during V2, in the Hotfix (2.0.1) they balanced its mechanics.
It's easier to write but now it hurts based on how much you go off the edge (that is, how much you scratched on the white part)

honestly, i love the ending of this mod because it actually makes sense... Boyfriend challenges basically everyone and comes out alive by some miracle, it was inevitable for him to actually die in a mod

Fun detail, if you make it to the end of unbeatable without botplay, it ends in a tie as the health icons are in the middle on the health bar at the bottom of your screen. So no matter what you do, you cannot beat nintendo

Finally getting to see Merg play unbeatable, more or less.
I find it interesting how Ultra M didn't want to actually kill boyfriend but he had no choice as he stood in the way of M's revenge. The credits explain how he kinda wished that he didn't have to kill boyfriend and that if the circumstances were different, they might've not been enemies
The more you we have face off against in the end is called costume. Basically, it's fun f, but the killer is wearing a Mario costume instead and for the ending section. He's holding a knife to girlfriend. Originally the song will end in with girlfriend dying, but that was changed.
Actually, I missed counted. All stars is actually 8 minutes. I just added an extra minute when it's not there. Sorry.

I’m pretty sure there’s no good ending
No Party (Vs DJ Hallyboo): The scribbling used to work, but it got patched.
Powerdown (Vs MX): The thing in the back is a cloud. That's not a Koopa, that's Toad. That's not Luigi, that's Lucas. It's not an illusion, Gf got snapped like a KitKat.
Demise (MX go VROOOOOM): That's not the Mario from the beginning, he's the no longer canonical but now fanonical best friend of Lord X. Boyfriend and Girlfriend are running on life systems which only tick down from "canon" deaths such as Gf's in Powerdown, so Gf did actually come back.
I don't know much about SM64 Classified so I won't be able to say anything factual or guaranteed accurate in Classified Castle.
Promotion (Vs Stanley): The promotion means advertisement, not that you're in a new job position. Stanley is an Ai made to classify other Ais and materials, which also "kills" them in a way. Stanley hates his job, wanting nothing but to rest and be left alone, as seen in his text lyrics in the song.
Abandoned (Vs Classified Luigi): This is one of the Ais that Stanley was forced to classify, drowning him. The colourful things are switches from Wet Dry World in Super Mario 64, which elevate and drop water to certain levels. Also, the mechanic for Abandoned is a bit buggy, where the water rises faster depending on your fps.
The End (Vs Costume, aka Mike Robertson): He's not the real Mario, he's not even a Mario at all. He's a guy that got upset about a rigged competition that gave away a free Nintendo 64, so he put on a Mario costume and stabbed the competition organisers at their house as revenge (it was a family that organised it). I think in the end he kind of became like Golden Freddy mixed with Springtrap's backstory but Mariofied.
All Stars (Vs Ultra M (Horror Mario), Omega, LG, W4R, Y0SH, Gf and the rest of the cast): Omega isn't a furry, it's the Tanooki power up. The entirety of Act 2 comprises of the playable characters of Super Mario 64 DS. Ultra M's lyrics in Act 3 is Ultra M trying to get Bf to commit suicide. There are no Goombas in the back of Act 4,just Thwomps, mushrooms, fire flowers, shells, item blocks and flagpoles.
A Mad World Without You fun facts: The song is M having regret over killing Bf, as he never actually wanted to kill Bf, and was going to let him go. There are 2 technical endings, the happier stageplay ending in the credits, and the canon ending of Bf and Gf getting gutted like fish. There was originally going to be a secret song if you FC'd All Stars where Bf would escape, tell Daddy Dearest what happened then get shot by Daddy Dearest. Pico is not dead, but he's doomed to just wander M's realm for eternity now. With the point in the background of "It did release" is from the V2 teaser trailer on Funkkast.
Unbeatable (Vs Mr SyS, Duck Hunt, Bowser, Smeck and Lakitu): The song is based on an Australian ad that many children found disturbing. Mr SyS (short for either System or Steal your Soul) is a business partner of M's, being partners with him before Daddy Dearest sealed M in the cartridge, which is why M wanted Gf dead, to get revenge on DD for betraying him. In the miss animation, Bf becomes static. Oh yeah, the song is 10 minutes and 36 seconds and was trending #3 on Twitter/X for 3 days. There are no checkpoints in the song, and you can turn off botplay by selecting call Luigi again. The flashes in the back is getting shot, it's your hp bar getting shot at. The only no miss section of the song is at the start with Mr SyS. You say it's impossible, but there are many people that have done this in 1 try. The way the fire bar works is that it's made entirely to keep you at half health. The Bullet Bills cover up your notes, preventing you from playing better. Also, this Bowser is based on his 8 bit appearance which is how he appeared in the ad. I call him Bitser. I forgot to mention it earlier, but Smeck is an enemy from the Wrecking Crew game (the game R.O.B comes from). Final fact; the entire song is actually unbeatable as it's implied that their score at the end is 1,000,000 while Bf's maximum score can go up to around 870,000. On top of that, the bar doesn't go past the middle.

Unbeatable is thankfully beatable, only the first special mechanic is an actual no miss. Took me a while to actually beat it though
I want to say, if you plan on playing another fnf game w/out mechanics, try the a and s keys on your left hand, and up and right arrow keys on your right hand, this helps so much.
