Omg I can’t get over the fact that people there are not wearing mask. It’s like a different world. What did you guys do right?
We were in extreme lockdown for 7 months last year. The restrictions have been off the charts. It’s literally only in the past week or so that some stores allow you to not wear a mask. All the supermarkets etc still insist on it. Melbourne had the worst lockdown in the world in 2020...

The LV building on Collins is so beautiful. This collection is very pretty but I don’t think much of it is left, sadly. I actually liked the print on many of the mens bags and wish some of the women’s styles came in those. I noticed the streets are still quiet. 😔 I think you may have to pin a comment to all of your shopping vlogs as to why we are fortunate to not have to wear masks in Australia. I love the Rendez-Vous bag. I purchased the one that has the gold logo on it. The leather is soft and it's a chic bag. I was joking that you can use the removable gold chain and turn it into a necklace since LV was actually selling a thicker silver chain necklace. It's a two for one!

Terrible that people are not wearing their masks. There are many countries that are experiencing a third, fourth wave of spikes. We need everyone to work together to get rid of this horrible pandemic and start living a normal life again😞
Thank you for watching! :) Our restrictions have eased gradually. We have had zero cases in the past 24 days with very minimal cases before that, so we don’t need to wear masks in public now...but we are still required to wear them in shopping centres, grocery stores, public transport and the airport. At the moment just the healthcare workers have been vaccinated but it will be rolling out to the public very soon. I hope you guys are going well over there lovely.
Health workers and people working in quarantine or border protection are being vaccinated
Chris, we have worked very hard as a state/country to get into the position we are at now. Melbourne had one of the toughest lockdowns in the world last year with over 100 days in very strict lockdown. By law we are no longer required to wear a mask in public but are still required to do so in shopping centres, grocery stores & public transport. We are on our 25th day of zero local cases, with very few cases for weeks before that. Pls kindly don't assume it is terrible that people just aren't wearing their masks, the government has allowed this. It has been a very gradual process of easing of restrictions for us. I do agree we all need to work together to get this under control as best as possible but i did want to let you know this very important point. Have a great day and stay safe. Kindest, Mel
Our government has been very decisive and strict with restrictions in the past and that has meant that we have not had a locally acquired case for 31 days. We have a hard boarder with the rest of the world and anyone coming in has to spend a minimum of 14 days in hotel quarantine, we had a very bad wave in Melbourne last year and our government crushed it due to a host of restrictions including catching it relatively early and locking down when there were 100 cases a day. Of course we are mindful of covid but we have worked really hard to get to this stage and are enjoying a relatively normal life right now.
