I came here because I saw Bob's tweet. How on Earth did I not find your channel before today? This is absolutely terrific from beginning to end, not just the woodworking but your camerawork and editing are superb. Great job!
I’ve only met you once. And because I’m an introvert I said a whole sentence to you. But I’m pretty sure if you were my neighbor we would be best friends. And you are definitely one of the coolest people of all times. This build is pure jackman style. The most amazing part was two things for me. The ingenious way you made the notches on the adjustment wheel, and the crazy detail and final profiles of the frog. Typical jackman editing and entertainment. Thanks for the build man and for taking us on the journey with you. -Ben
Well I hope you made that one sentience worth it then! ;) Just move to DC and we can be neighbors That notch jig, I still can't believe something that simple worked so well
I lost it at the full size boards coming out at the end. Great work! It would be awesome if you did an art exhibit at some point with all these giant tools!
Dear Mr. Jackman. Would like to let you know that you are one of the best maker, creator, all around awesome youtuber! I had to take a break from wood working due to my selfishness. I always enjoy your videos on all levels! All the best to you sir!
I was watching this video, got about halfway through, then I said to myself out loud "I like this guy" , then I hit the Subscribe button. Love the video editing.
This is the first video I've watched of yours and it's just simply a great video all-round - comedy, filming, woodwork, craftsmanship, design and construction!
Was fun watching the progress and reveal on IG, but the video is just magnificent. The shimmy is my new favorite clamp removal technique. I'm also here for the knob polishing comments. Awesome build! Thanks for sharing!
Giant stick ruler!!!! 1 Foot to 1 inch!!! It will eliminate the need for a walking wheel for ever!!! The guys at work are never going to believe me when i tell them that Jackman is thinking about considering my idea.
Amazing result jackman. Wow. A giant hammer and chisel come to mind but they’re boring. Coping saw also. Perhaps a giant router plane would be an adequate challenge.
Paul, extraordinary use of wood, scaling to size and detail. Not only does it look proportionate even in its blown up version, its fully functional. You indeed have a talent when it comes to working with wood. My hat is off to you good sir, you have my utmost respect and admiration. I enjoy all your vids , lighthearted comedy, video editing, it all comes together in a neat package as one of my favorite educational times wasters. please keep on doing what you do best
Thanks!! I'm more than happy to waste your time. Since you enjoy the functionality of this one, definitely check out on Instagram the giant Maker Knife I just made, you'll love it!
@@JackmanWorks Seen it and also watched Diresta make the blade. When I subscribed to your channel not long ago, I binge watched everything you did, most enjoyable. I always look for anything new
Wouldn't mind seeing you make a giant arbortech turboplane. It doesn't actually have to work, it could just be a fun project to make. Love these giant tool builds!
The attention to detail is great. And I loved the add for it at the end that was hilarious. I've made several scaled down pieces of furniture, but after watching this video I'm inspired to try something scaled up.
I don't know how you keep getting better. With the video edit and the build. I would like to see a jackman sized old school hand crack drill. Obviously zach has to make the drill bit. That should be a challenge for both of you..
@@JackmanWorks I'm sure zach will unfriend you after that one. But if anyone can do it, its gonna be him.. it really is the obvious next jackman sized tool to make. And at some point we need to see you make something with just basic Jackman sized tools...
The year is 2026. Jackman has finally completed his giant wooden mecha, for using previously made giant tools, to construct giant woodworking projects on youtube. Gotta look perfect now that we have 32K resolution.
I’m not trying to be a kiss ass but I don’t see how you’re not at 1,000,000 subs.... you’re talented maker and videographer, then add in your humor... GOLD 👍🏼 awesome job man
Awesome build Paul. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see a Jackman sized random orbit sander that runs off a small gas motor. Like a string trimmer or chainsaw motor or something like that. Would be freaking awesome! The harder you squeeze the trigger the faster it would spin. Haha. Could sand through a board in no time

this is one of the perhaps most fascinating projects I have seen so far :-)
Lol. You got me with those full board shavings in the commercial at the end.
I'm actually dying of laughter x)
Still makes me laugh every time! lol
Full boards was so great
kind of sad that it only works with filming tricks....
wood sometimes be quite useful...
It's over people, he's made the best build video on UA-cam.
I'm just trying to get in on this tool restoration goldmine but I think I did it wrong...
I 2nd that vote!
Your parody of Bob from I Like To Make Stuff is Genius...this is so amazing.
I literally had to go to the iltms website to see if there was someone new working there. :P I love both channels. :-)
ha! I didn't realize there was so much crossover between our 2 audiences, that's awesome
He acts like boby duke
@@abkh7777 I've acted like Bobby Duke before Bobby Duke acted like Bobby Duke. Wait, what?
Jackman Works but boby duke acted like the duke boby which turns out boby was you but puberty turned him into you
I need to stop my head hurts
I love your editing. It makes every one of your episodes feel like a short film about wood working. Congrats for another beautiful project.
It literally is a short film about woodworking💁♂️
i had actual tears in my eyes when he was making plank shavings i was laughing that hard
I wasn't so confused when I only heard the first 10 seconds of audio... great video bob
Who's this Bob everyone is referencing??
@@JackmanWorks
I was wondering the same thing. His name is Paul and is right in the details drop down thingy.
I beleive it is the man who has the popular kids show with his talking construction equipment
No Bob is from I like to make stuff the UA-cam channel. Nice try though @Jackmanworks lol
I really hope you know that I was being sarcastic...
Magnificent edit and project, Paul! You've raised the bar for the entire Internet.
This deserves an Academy Award.
