How to draw easy 3D trick art spiral drawing optical illusion. Very satisfying and relaxing! With a Sharpie I draw spiral curves that are spaced apart but all travel along the same path. I then draw slight curved lines that follow the same path around the spiral creating many different sized rectangular shapes.
Once I'm happy with the layout I then fill in the rectangle shapes with a sharpie just like a chess board. To finish off I used a HB pencil and applied some shading to the left side of the drawing.
