Just wanted to drop a comment and thank you for the awesome 3DC tutorials. So glad I found your channel. Excellent, concise videos that are easy to follow. Much needed for 3DCoat users. Hope to see more from you - subscribed!
Thanks for the demo, very helpful as always! I have been following your videos for 3D Coat and I am very interested in it, as a strong complement/companion to Blender. Toolwise, 3D Coat seems pretty packed, making the functioning of it's tools quite understandable. However I find the workflow concepts not easy to grasp. I do not have much more background in 3D than Blender and good ol Milkshape3D, so perhaps that is why I do not understand the asset creation pipeline within 3D Coat. It would be great if you could demo the full pipeline process, without the need of a complex model of course, so that any of us a little lost by the workflow in 3D Coat can get the best out of it. Thanks again for your videos, I appreciate them a lot! 👌👌👌
I learned a lot thanks to this video. I was kind of puzzled in the beginning because layer opacity wouldn't work with non-surface tool... Also my result after baking was kind of poor. But I guess I didn't have the right brushes for terrain. Did you made those brushes by yourself out of a grayscale data ? Thanks !
Thanks, and yes. You can create the height maps in another application or download the height maps from online. 4k was the max size with the best file size to quality ratio I found. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you!
Amazing, thanks much
Thank you!
You're welcome! Hope it was helpful

Thanks for sharing, very helpful
No problem 👍
Again, a very helpful tutorial, thanks for sharing this technique.
Great walkthrough. Thank you! Are you planning to make a video showing us your workflow for painting this terrain?
Sure, I can do that.
Thanks for the demo, very helpful as always!
