You know, everyone loves how posh and ranty David is (as do I!) But I think I love how polite and gentle and then suddenly bitingly sarcastic Robert can be, even more.
NO! I love it! And I was just thinking that one of the many reasons Peep Show is so wonderful is the knowledge that they are actually long time, close friends.
An Autobiography: Empty Joy to Pity By David Mitchell And on the front cover a greyscale picture of David sitting cross-legged on a stool staring thoughtfully into space as if reminiscing over a life time of tragedy and sorrow
That first pic they flash up when talking about the new Peep Show series makes me think a (comedic) remake of "The Professionals" should be considered.
"Everything is to be celebrated! I believe you are alone in the world, WHEY! I hear there is some news that you're staring desperately into the void, WOHOO!" Oh, David, you wonderful man :)
Rob has a wide range of creepy faces. He subtlely pulls off. I swear, u never remember it but u probably see it in your dreams. Its eerily familiar. Its quite masterful how he has that. David has none of those. Hes the speaker.
I think Jonathan Ross is likeable, and I him funny most of time. He made big mistake by trying to unsettle David Mitchell there, though. Poor guy was starting to plead for some mercy by the end. Haha, it's obvious when Rob Webb switches to Jez; it's much harder to notice with Mitchell>Mark
@mufasahootenanny None taken at all! Sorry if I seemed like I was attacking you personally. I have noticed Ross being a bit snippy here and there but overall I find him to be quite funny, but everyone's got different tastes. I think we can both agree Mitchell and Webb are brilliant though.. :-P
@mufasahootenanny What are you saying? The three of them are simply lovely. Wossy never did a damn thing to you, I don't think it's quite fair of you to make such a statement.
I think its more Mitchell and Webb that are awkward, because as far as they're concerned they're two normal men who have to talk about their lives in front of an audience. Which they are. So fair enough. Didn't detract from the funny factor though.
This is what pisses me off a lot about Jonathan Ross; his aching desire to prove how modern and up-to-date he is. He's an absolute tit, and absolutely outwitted by David Mitchell. "I am literally a contemporary of yours." XD
It's always a weird watch when a guest or guests are so much funnier and smarter than the host. It's like th are speaking to a child. Call it the Jimmy Fallon experience
mitchell's awesome and webb's good too, but what is with Ross calling theirs the best sketch show? what about python, fry and laurie. I like them both but their sketches aren't *that* good.
You know, everyone loves how posh and ranty David is (as do I!) But I think I love how polite and gentle and then suddenly bitingly sarcastic Robert can be, even more.
David is not really posh.
'i too am alive now' hahaha love them so much
"I am literally a contemporary of yours. I too, am alive now." Brilliant.
"I named you after this tawdry piece of shit" hahahahaha
I love the brief looks of alarm David would get whenever Jonathan said basically anything, haha.
I love everything that isn't Jonathan Ross.
I wanna give David Mitchell a big hug!
The technology questions bit of this interview nearly had me crying with laughter. Brilliantly funny interview.
Steve Powell i thought it was shit. like anything jonathan ross does. shit
mickeyO95 Lol ok then!
having read his autobiography, those questions about relationships to David are So uncomfortable
I'm so glad he's got the lovely Victoria now. :) Is there any particular reason that it never really worked out for him before?
Joe Davies exactly.
"I believe you are alone in the world- WOO!" Oh David you card.
Her face when he insults big brother, priceless!
I love how Matthew Fox is trying so hard not to laugh during the Big Brother bit.
"psychopath who can't commit"... Fuck you Jonathon Woss.
"Attack her with the tongs!" XD
I love both David and Rob, Peep Show and TMaWL are fantastic.
That was hilarious! "I hate and feel betrayed by the era I live in" I could not love David Mitchell more if I tried!
"I too am alive now" Man I love this guy
"it's great that everything is to be celebrated!" lol
NO! I love it! And I was just thinking that one of the many reasons Peep Show is so wonderful is the knowledge that they are actually long time, close friends.
"Attack her with the tongues." was hilarious
We all want to marry David Mitchell- he is so adorable
“I’ve got a digital camera!”
An Autobiography: Empty Joy to Pity
By David Mitchell

Yea Jonathan is being very praising of these two geniuses.
"Attack her with the tongs!!!"
Ahahaha they come across so well.
"I, too, am alive now."
'Maybe you'd like to deal with your hair'. Hahahaha!
And now he's taken. You're a lucky lady, Ms. Coren. Take good care of him, please.
the man interviewing them really.
After Rob told off the Big Brother chick essentially to her face, I think he's now my favorite of the two...
"I am literally a contemporary of yours" Davis
That first pic they flash up when talking about the new Peep Show series makes me think a (comedic) remake of "The Professionals" should be considered.
"Everything is to be celebrated! I believe you are alone in the world, WHEY! I hear there is some news that you're staring desperately into the void, WOHOO!" Oh, David, you wonderful man :)
They are sitting very close together :)
9:55 - Let's get the fuck out of here!
'I'm literally contemporary of yours, I too am alive now' I love him. And JR is so annoying, it's painful.
They finish each others sentences :3
Everything is to be celebrated. 'I believe you are alone in the world. Wooo!!!'
So does Victoria Coren apparently
0:28 - sheer terror
Oh my, the balls to burn Davina like that, that was orgasmic
hahahaha mitchell makes wossy look like a mug :)
slightly awkward interview
Jonathan Ross talks like Lucey Worsley
Rob has a wide range of creepy faces. He subtlely pulls off. I swear, u never remember it but u probably see it in your dreams. Its eerily familiar. Its quite masterful how he has that. David has none of those. Hes the speaker.
And a few years later David married the glorious Victoria.
Davina, if you're just going to sit there, mouth agape, would you mind awfully? *ziiiiiip*
Fuck! Davina Mccall's stern face and shocked face is fucking great!!
GRRRR!!!!
and 3 years later he's engaged!! ^^!
David
An iron, ooh that's a bit poncey
From my perspective, David's the lucky one.
Does anyone know what those scenes from TM&WL where they play exaggerated versions of themselves are called?
There is a David deep down inside of me.
@Cardien18 oh yeah figuratively as well I guess.
I would so buy mitchells autobriography.
I think Jonathan Ross is likeable, and I him funny most of time. He made big mistake by trying to unsettle David Mitchell there, though. Poor guy was starting to plead for some mercy by the end. Haha, it's obvious when Rob Webb switches to Jez; it's much harder to notice with Mitchell>Mark
why is Ross questioning Mitchell like he's from the 1800?
Love them so much
@mufasahootenanny None taken at all! Sorry if I seemed like I was attacking you personally. I have noticed Ross being a bit snippy here and there but overall I find him to be quite funny, but everyone's got different tastes. I think we can both agree Mitchell and Webb are brilliant though.. :-P
this interviewer...hes like...special or something....
for a 1700's men it's strange indeed...
Davina looked hot here.
anyone know what mitchells doll says ??? cant make out that last part.
+Excidium96 Thank you for that spectacularly banal contribution to proceedings.
Ahhh! Thank you!
You mean Johnathon Ross?
@nyc999 Nobody is picking on anyone, it's an entertainment show. Jesus.
come to the usa
@mufasahootenanny What are you saying? The three of them are simply lovely. Wossy never did a damn thing to you, I don't think it's quite fair of you to make such a statement.
Haha, i think David makes him feel uncomfortable and awkward.
@jaojaodevojke hahaha pa zdravo! I wonder about that, perhaps not though... :p
Just look at the two top comments of Part 1.
Robert
Is it just me, or does it feel like the three of them feel a bit uncomfortable sat together.
He is....
Ahahaha, JR thinks hes funnier than them xD
I think its more Mitchell and Webb that are awkward, because as far as they're concerned they're two normal men who have to talk about their lives in front of an audience. Which they are. So fair enough.
Didn't detract from the funny factor though.
@starspangledpants he would if he could
@soleilmh very
Ross is a very awkward man considering his job is talking to people
This is what pisses me off a lot about Jonathan Ross; his aching desire to prove how modern and up-to-date he is. He's an absolute tit, and absolutely outwitted by David Mitchell.
"I am literally a contemporary of yours." XD
I want to marry David Mitchell.
David Mitchell is one of a kind...
It's so ironic that while he has so many fans he can't get himself a girlfriend. And so sad...
I like them both but their sketches aren't *that* good.
wrong
Ross is a mug
