On Holy Thursday we recall what happed during the Last supper:
The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. (1 Cor 11:23-26)

I love Holy Thursday ✝. As a Eucharistic Minister, I serve as Mass in my Church, and I bring Holy Communion to the homebound of our parish. What an amazing gift that Jesus continues to give us! 🕊🙏
Pray for the United States, pray pray, pray, say your rosary pray, pray pray, pray, pray
The more we receive Jesus in His Body and Blood, the more we become like HIM and He IS LOVE! Try to go to daily Mass whenever possible before it is taken away from us by the Godless! But if you cannot, Jesus knows your desire and so will honor it if you ask Him to allow you to receive Him spiritually and ask that you will receive the Sanctifying Grace as much as possible from this Spiritual Communion. We can also offer up our Eucharist and Spiritual Communions for loved ones, those in need of conversion or even our enemies which is wonderful! Our Lord is so generous and is never outdone in LOVE! Happy Holy Maundy Thursday!
Pray for the entire world, God created us all, Daily Rosaries are a must and daily Mass if possible 🙏🙏🙏

I receive our Lord in the Eucharist most always 6 days a week in the past 8 years. I know He has made a difference in my life. My prayer life, my love for others, and my willingness to serve others has grown.
I'm asking Him to help me in the area of loving and serving those who are the most difficult to deal with. I have to continue to look at them with the eyes of Jesus, and to love them with the love I receive into my body each morning. Let them eat me up. 🙏🤲🙏💝

This is my experience as well with daily Mass and the Eucharist as often as possible. We receive help in serving those most difficult by asking Mom for the Grace which I’m sure you do, and picturing Jesus as that person. It’s hard at 1st to picture Jesus in a difficult person, but essentially you ARE serving JESUS not the person when you serve. Love is SERVICE and ACTION. Love is a decision and desire to want to love.. So if you desire to serve Jesus with love, you WILL naturally serve others. Jesus served all especially the difficult (Judas, Peter, hard sinners who repented….) Have a blessed Tridium and Easter.

He knew and he still loved! He knew and he still served. My heart swells when I think of the betrayal and how he knew.
Even if I were the only one on earth, he would have done all this for me! What a privilege it is for us- that we can be nourished ( body and soul) by Jesus Christ!

Thank you! I have never thought of it as allowing others to eat me up. Surrendering to the messiness of being chewed and swallowed and digested, to be burned by stomach acid and then distributed through the system as miniscule pieces going ever which way.
