Mine sounds the exact same. I’ve got the older BTR Stage III at 113+3 LSA, LT headers, and Corsa Extreme. Every time I crank it up I say “let me sing you the song of my people”. 😂😂😂

I just talked to my neighbor, and he said him and his wife are upset with me. I put an npp setup on my 06 c6 zo6, and they can't hear my car starup anymore. I told them I'd open the butterflies once in awhile for him. I have a BTR custom grind 246-692-266-692-11+2. With the AC on, she actually rocks back and forth with the chop. Hope to make some content soon

I’ve noticed you’ve switched from catless to catted ARH, I’m wanting my first mod on my stock 2011 Z07 to be ARH headers, but I’m unsure of whether to get catted or catless. It will be going through the factory NPP. Just wondering what your thoughts were on any drone or exhaust smell without cats with the NPP. Thanks!
I was happier with the catted over the catless honestly, it was't nearly as loud BUT the smell at stop lights was something to get used to. and the drone while cruising was pretty bad. Even with the catted exhaust, it still droned while cruising but was bearable alone, with my wife it wasnt the greatest. With that said though, the NPP sounds good! even catted it was loud, and really was a good exhaust, i just love the corsa exhaust otherwise i wouldnt have switched!

Yes WAY louder on the outside, and way quite on the inside! Wife and I can cruise at any speed now and have a conversation, where before it was droney and loud inside (not a problem by myself but with her kind deterrent from driving places)

@@corvetteZ3r yes it was, I had a mild to wild switch on it, and it prevented it from being loud outside but there was still some resonance inside the cabin that my wife was sensitive to.

Sounds impressive! I wonder how fast it really is though, with a cam that grade, he better be running 4.56 or 4.88 gears in the back otherwise he just made his car a tank.
god no, those gears would make it very difficult to drive. It already has enough torque to unhook the tires in 1st and 2nd (partially due to tires being rubber bands). And even on those tires, my corrected times are in the low 11's, to high 10's. It's not the fastest thing on the street in the world but itll definitely take you for a ride.
Edit: Also, the stock gearing is exactly why Z06's just disappear in 3rd and 4th gear, its because it can stretch its legs and move out.

Most likely not, I'll be putting it up on the Corvetteforum with my mild to wild relay, controllers, and holder sometime in the near future (12k miles original OEM)

Curious why you switched from npp to corsa xtreme ?
I wanted an exhaust system that was design to be loud & no drone. IMO the NPP sounds good but it wasn't GM's intention (from what i assume) for it to be used in combination with the larger long tube headers and a high flow xpipe/cat. Also, my C5Z had the stock titanium exhaust and sounded good with the bypass, went to a Corsa and it was way better. I assumed the same would happen here OEM -> Aftermarket would sound better, and it did!
So do you have any drone at idle or at 1.5-2k rpms with the corsa? I have cam/headers/off road xpipe, with stock z06 dual mode mufflers. There’s some drone at idle and below 1.5k rpms for me when the valves are open. Thanks

@@aheckingoodboi so I had no drone at idle with NPP but drone between 1.5-2k that was not the greatest. Wife & I had to talk really loud at certain speeds, or id have to change gears. The Coras picked up a mild drone at idle now, but no drone when driving at all anymore. So, to me, I can deal with idle drone (less than the NPP Driving drone by a good chunk) over drone while cruising down the road.

It's pretty damn similar honestly haha the high flow cats from ARH only changed the drone/pitch a little on the NPP exhaust. I'd assume it would just be a little louder without cats but it would be cool haha

They are definitely two different sounds! Ones reminiscent of old school muscle and one a more exotic sound
Btr 3 is big?? That’s funny we both have silver Z06’s with BTR 3’s. My other Z06 has a 263/279 .685 cam. Now that’s BIG
That's massive my boy lol anything over 25x/26x & .600 to me is big, considering BTR said that cam spec was closer to a 3.5 than anything
@@silverbulletz06 mine runs really good with the BTR 3 I’m happy with it. I just bought the car to sale but I’m having a lot of fun with it while my other one is still being built. Hopefully it makes over 700 wheel. Do you have the stage 3 v2?
@@corvetteZ3r yeah the V2! When I called and talked to BTR they recommended it for a healthy NA built and a really nice boosted power curve and so far I love the NA build, could use more HP but that's what the A&A is going to do
@@silverbulletz06 nice, wish they’d update the old centrifugal based wildcat cam. I thought about swapping to the V2 while I wait for a buyer for its most likely not worth it. My car runs a 7.1 60-130 and could probably do a little better if I shift it right, and I’m happy with that

@@silverbulletz06 why isn’t BTR doing your headwork? I noticed BTR try’s to BS when it comes to their cam specs. When someone runs their cams on a Cam Dr to get actual specs they don’t match BTR’s spec sheet. Example, Truck Norris cam. Also, as an engineer I don’t agree with Brian’s cam theory....
@@trailerparkcryptoking5213 as an engineer... I see data and results with multiple of my vehicles, making healthy HP and TQ, and am perfectly happy with the results. BTR has been in the game for a long time, had record braking cars, and results that show themselves on the track and on the street.
And why does he have to do headwork? Is there some requirement that anyone in performance parts has to do headwork?
Can I ask why you are so aggressive/upset with BTR? And using a cam doctor is like saying you measured your foot size with your thumb length, it isn't accurate at all and that's known fact.

My neighbors love it, 6 of them showed up the day I installed it because that had seen my under the car working on it. My next door neighbor came running outside one morning just to tell me it put a smile on his face. My across neighbor texted me "🤘🏻🤘🏻 sounds so good" one morning he heard it. So, believe or not, yes I'm popular with them because they all love it
