After a long 2 and a half months of animating, we’ve finally completed Mewtwo X vs Y. I haven't animated a proper fight scene in over 2 years, so it took a bit to re-learn some of the techniques I used to do. It also meant that I needed to make it look as pretty as possible, which meant a lot of time adding tons of effects 🙂.

This is some studio quality animation all based on a horrible, poorly managed, pay to win MOBA game! Almost makes me think the Mewtwo meta(s) were worth it! Or at least y'all make it seem that way!
The animations were far far far better than expected, like the moves and the motion physics were so accurate. No doubt that it's better than the fighting animations in the series where one blast, huge light and ones ko'd...love your animations
I really thought that both mewtwo's would have a debate on their personal skill, but I didn't expect them to throw hands, like DAMN.
This animation is sick! Also, I like the voices for the Mewtwos, since I head canon X as male and Y as female, myself.

Mewtwo Y is just spamming Psystrike, while X form is just melee and sometimes future sight
