@@alcan6885 because there's many maraja alive today, it's not like there's only ONE marja and people are asking themselves "who will be the next" like it's a king succession, anyway, as I guess you mean Ayatollah Sistani, it cannot be said now with certainty, there may be candidates but the Hawza has to recognise them and propose them once it's needed, not now when he's still alive. May Allah prolong his life
The whole point that if the question is controversial and there’s disagreement between maraja, he prefers to not answer so his words don’t be understood as fatwa from a certain marja! Basically, he’s saying ask this question to someone other him!

Sayed is one of the hawaza scholars and yet is telling people to to go ask other hawza scholars that are in iraq or iran.
