25 Mistakes You Missed In Cars

- Calling all fans of the Cars franchise! The beloved Disney/Pixar series has added yet another installment to its long-running franchise, and this time, it’s in the form of a Disney+ TV series. Cars on the Road has arrived at Disney+, and viewers of pretty much all ages are loving this peek into Lightning McQueen and his best friend, Mater’s, road trip. Yet, while this series, like the rest of the Cars franchise, is perfect for kids of all ages and has garnered a PG rating, there are some moments that we’re not so sure about, and we’re so bold as to say they might be some mistakes. Some folks cross the road while not looking both ways, and some people make small animation errors while producing Pixar films. The difference is, we have a list right here of the latter! We’ve come to expect Disney movies to have a few mistakes that may go over kids’ heads. Cars on the Road is certainly no exception to this, but beyond that, the previous films Cars 3, Cars 2, and the first Cars film have some mistakes we couldn’t let go of. We’ve gathered together all of those moments - from quick, fleeting jokes to animation errors, so you can be the judge of whether these are mistakes or not. Any you noticed that we didn’t mention? 6:20 the reason the blue car named Raoul caroule was in second in the dirt and last in the asphalt its because Raoul is a rally car and his top speed is 124.3 mph

Yeah but considering that he is a Rally car and is therefore very fast on dirt in comparison to most others he shouldn'T fall all the way to the back of the field the second they leave the dirt.
Rally cars aren't bad for road driving a lot of rally stages irl don'T even have any dirt lol

2:11 the red Land Rover is on the left side and the purple one is on the left, after the camera changes the purple one is still there in the back while the red one clearly just moved up.

You can actually see the wall painting in the first seen you can see the green, it wasn’t an error it was covered up
That's right, the camera just got closer to McQueen that's why it showed.

That car isn’t gone and didn’t get a new paint job but because of the kind of paint it looks lighter due to headlight reflections (that car is dark purple ish)
5:00, why not point out the obvious/actual error where he starts peeling out on the line, then in the next frame he’s peeling out outside of the yellow line, then the next frame he’s way outside the yellow line..?

Maters dent from cars 2 is mysteriously gone in cars 3. While this could just be an animator mistake that got overlooked but when you consider how detail oriented pixar is like how woodys stitches from toy story 2 are still on him in toy story 3 and 4. It seems like they done this intentionally as a slight wink to fans that cars 2 was retconed
@GH0STST4RSCR34M I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked Disney or Pixar if Cars 2 is canon, and they just flat out say no.

Yes, that was definitely just a perspective thing and not an error. Also, the shadows are dynamically calculated based on the location of the scene's sun, if she wouldn't cast a shadow someone must've horribly messed up.

In luigi and guido’s tire shop McQueen is given white wheels to race with
The paint job remains the same but the wheels go to default. Luigi also bought the same white wheels to the track.😮
in the starting grid of the tokyo race, the german car you mentioned was still the same car, it was a dark dark purple
8:35 the blue car is indicating left when he is turning right
2:13 you can see the red land rover behind mcqeen and at 2:17 you can see the truck you pointed at behind the red land rover.
"poster problems" 0:42 you can just see green outline from the number poster on mcqueen's shelf.
"cruzing for a bruising" you can see her shadow at 3:02-3:03 just about on mcqueen's fender.
"one for the old guys" if you look closely, you can see they're talking near a number 5 crew, and 75 crew. at 4:27 you can see mcqueen was further from them. but you can still see that 75 crew and that number 5 crew just about mcqueen's roof and you can still see the interviewer just about on mcqueen's rear left fender.
"last minute replacement" that car is never been black. i think it's blue navy/dark purple idk. the light from the racer headlights behind him makes the blue a lot brighter.
In the first Cars, when Lightning has a slow leak: Guido fixes his driver rear tire with fix-a-flat. However, fix-a-flat must be put in BEFORE the tire is spun, not after. It always drives me crazy!

2:14 No, it's still there..the red Range Rover quickly moved from behind McQueen to in front of the black car/cameraman. He didn't get replaced. Wow, a blooper in a blooper reel lol
The crusing for a bruising part Cruze actually does have a shadow even from the perspective thing that you spoke about.
And as well as the red Range Rover suddenly appearing right at the front door. You should've noticed it further back. So I'm not sure about the change of paint job thing.
Otherwise I enjoyed the video regardless. Its crazy how movies as big as Cars could still miss out on these things

0:43 nope, if you look at the left you can see a bit of green, and the camera is further away therefore you can't see there is stuff on the wall. The second shot is closer.

2:12 the black truck is behind the red truck, and there are two different trucks.
I knew about the one when the screen slammed that breaks at the right timing because I watched the movie Cars 3 before
“A Wheely Small Error” even in the shot where the tire is completely “missing” you can see bits of it still, and tires can blow in some unique ways, could be chalked up to the tire still be on, on the part of the rim that’s not showing, and vice Versa when it is showing.
I’m glad someone else noticed!!!!! The wheel was still popped the entire time it just has to do with lighting and the smoke surrounding that rim, which does make it hard to tell but it’s definitely completely gone.
The thing with the tires they are putting on treads for mqeeun and they had to put slicks on so he could drive to victory lane
Also when McQueen gets wrapped in the second the bars on his spoiler magically go through
At the end of the race in cars 1 McQueen stops right before the line inches before it to help the king. But when it pans out he’s a good few feet away from the line

I think yall need to look into a scene more befor just thinking you found a mistake. Most of these are not mistakes at all

In cars 3 when McQueen is going to the pit stop at the start of the movie there’s a top down view and you can see the king as the crew chief but in that scene he is glitched in with another car

@ 4:23 the yellow car is next to a green pit with the number 5 and when it cuts 4:27 to sally and mater greeting mcqueen you can see that there at a different pit and you can also see the blue car that was interviewing the yellow car behind mcqueen

No 7 I don't think was a mistake. They probably wanted McQueen in the center of the shot so moved Luigi to the other side. Even though Luigi had a clear veiw, one can argue he moved to other side to get a better angle on see the equipment that Cruz brought. Actually, rewatching the clip McQueen moved as well, so they probably were all moving around to see what Cruz brought.
So many of these are not correct and are just a result of perspective, as well as this, many of these are also just Easter eggs that Pixar put in place on purpose for us to find
