Thank you for flying the St. George Cross high. Sadly here in England we are too afraid too because of being Branded bad things due to the flag being associated with extreme political sections in the 80s and 90s so the Union Jack Gets favoured whilst The Cross gets only shown really at Football matches or on the 23rd of April St Georges day.The flag overall now just seems a Football team flag than a actual Nation flag for its lack of being seen around England which might sound Strange but its how it is i think its also why we are very enthusiastic and loud at Sports venues nation football Matches as its really are only time to be and feel patriotic without being ridiculed plus sadly are flag culture in the UK as a whole but specifically England mostly is seen as a bad thing which shocks Americans as people here who like flags or really patriotic people get called derogatory words like Flagshaggers and Gammon's. I like both Cross and Union Jack , the stigma of the Cross in some degree is gradually degrading since those eras so hopefully people start putting it up more than just events.I have Huge Respect for US Patriotism and not being ashamed or declined of your Flag flying I'd love to go to the US just to see the amount of Flags lol.
