I’m starting a new job in two weeks. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 18 years and no college degree. Your videos are helping me. Thank you

I 100% relate to this. I have been in my new job for three weeks, after leaving my previous role of 9 years; this is a new profession for me. Training is sufficient but It is a lot to take in and I feel I am not learning quick enough and working up to scratch - it is very overwhelming. I never thought about reframing and looking at it from this angle. Thanks for the video, I will be keeping this in mind and hopefully the feelings will ease. 😊

I’ve been in my job for a week and a half and I’m definitely feeling anxious. I was at my previous job for 10 years (similar to you) and my new job is a bit of a career change. I already have a project deadline due by next week. Never mind all the required trainings and hr paperwork I need to complete. I’m trying to stay calm, plan out small steps to get things done in a timely. I might need to listen to this podcast episode a third time.😅

@@Abbyyena Wishing you the best of luck! Sounds like you’ve really been thrown in at the deep end but I admire your intention to remain calm and take steps to help you through - I hope you were able to complete your project. I am still feeling somewhat anxious. I think some of it is fear of judgement but also forgetting what it’s like to be a newbie again! I am just trying to take one day at a time and learn without pressure. Good luck.

So glad to have found this channel! I’m a software engineer intern and my mentor has been MIA. This week alone, I learned a lot how to be extra resourceful, understand the problem, and communicate with people within and outside my team! This is such a great reminder because I’ve been feeling a little down. Thank you for this!

I started a new job this week and this episode literally made such a huge difference for me! The first 2 days my stomach literally hurt from so much anxiety and after this episode… reminding myself of key takeaways… I left my day in a good head space… my stomach had no knots all day… heart not racing. Honestly- thank you so much! I listened to a few other things by other people and I truly believe that God led me to your show and this episode as it just popped up at the top of my feed. 😊
