That Casita would be fantastic for guests. They have privacy and peace but are still able to enjoy the common spaces. Not having a dedicated guest room has been a challenge but I have 3 kids so each need a bedroom (for my sanity and theirs). This is not in my current budget but it would be a dream home. Perhaps someday when my business takes off. :)
What is the insolation (walls, roof, floor and windows) of the house, how energy efficient are the appliances? How big is the CO2 foorprint building the house? I see and hear a lot about the lipstick but not about the build quality of the house.
Great questions. All block construction, low E double pane windows, and when you walk through you can easily see/feel the quality of construction. It’s not all sizzle and no steak.
