Being NFC Champs is great, but not good enough. Think about this: San Francisco was the 1st NFL team with 5 Super Bowl titles. Now we are tied with Dallas in 2nd place. Pittsburgh and New England are first, having 6 each. How disgusting :( At one time, we, SF, had a 5 game winning streak in SB play, now it's 2 straight games lost. Every 49ers QB to play in at least 1 SB and has thrown 0 interceptions, won. Montana holds the record with 4 SB's played, with no int's. Kaepernick and Garoppolo have thrown at least one INT each and have an 'L' on their respective title game record.

Amen. I had nothing to watch on my lunch today, I didn't even watch last season after bosa and jimmy we're out. So back to the 19 highlights. What a run.
The Niners were the best team in football from 2019-2022. No superbowls though - combination of terrible luck and injuries (and some very one-sided officiating in SB 54 against them - I didn't notice it as much at the time as I was into the suspense of the game, but watching a replay, it was horrid; they were the better team). The 2020 injury breakdown was the worst I've ever seen.
Best NFL game of the 2019 season and one of the historic 49er games of all time. That game had everything - so many big plays, trick plays, great defensive plays, unusual surprise rulings, relatively few penalties, enthusiastic and intelligent announcing, crystal clear video, both sides playing their hearts out, and of course the fantastic 4th and 2 - game on the line - do or die epic and historic ending. Credit and kudos to the outstanding Saints team that brought out our best.
As a Washington fan even though we got shut out I'm still proud of the defensive performance against this great team. I thought it was gonna be worse but this was actually better than I thought. See you guys Christmas eve 2022.

We have some work to do this offseason but if Jimmy comes back healthy and takes a pay cut so we can get a right guard our offense should come back strong. Defense should be better with Bosa coming back. We need to find a lockdown CB.

In terms of expectations their worst game was the 49ers I can understand them losing to the Seahawks and Ravens but they just got flat out upsetted by the Atlanta Falcons
Very big chance we were robbed out of that Super Bowl 54 there was so many penalties that should have been called that was not called, but the main one that was a nail in the coffin for us when they didn't call holding on Kansas City defensive lineman as they were holding Nick Bosa on the 3rd and 15th (4th quarter) when Patty mahomo connected to Tyreek Hill now I'm not saying that that would have changed the whole game but it should have been third and 25 after that penalty

Was at Ceasar’s sports book in Vegas, the place was lit, 49er fans packed the house. I’m sure actually being there in NO was extra special.

I made that argument last season, there was no mention of that hold but it was the turning point of the game among other BS penalties. I agree.
