Thanks for your video. Just a quick question, the case involving the spring, you defined the contact between the inner face of the cylinder and outer face of the shaft as bonded. But in reality this is not the case since the shaft is allowed to slide in other to compress the spring. Is it not appropriate to use frictionless or friction contact since these allow sliding?
Agree with you, their should be frictional contact but we have used no separation contact though it is bonded but it allows sliding between the contact faces. likewise you can use no separation contact for faster results.
@@graspengineering9249 using bonding or no separation contacting in not right, the contacting types should be frictional or frictionless ,or there will have no action force on the spring. if frictinaless, the max deformation of the spring should be 1mm.1000N/(1000N/mm).
Sir thankyou so much for making this video 🙏🙏. Sir please make a video on how to connect rotational spring at the beam to column (steel) in line elements 🙏🙏
Making video on FEA is very time consuming & the output from UA-cam is nearly negligible but though we are working on few other videos, will upload very soon.
Excellent video !
Thank You for Appreciation !
Nice Video. Thank you
Thank you too

Grasp Engineering thanks for the clarification.

@@meanwaydai7581 Right, Frictional contact is more accurate.

Welcome ! Sure we will try to upload.
Can please make video on connection between 1d, 2d and 3d elements
okay !
Kindly let me know the Ansys version.
I couldn't find these options in ANSYS17.2 Version.
Please refer latest ANSYS version 2020R1.
@@graspengineering9249 let me know whether did you use Research license or Academic version.?
Can you please explain combin39 spring how to set model?
In workbench it is as simple as explained in the video.
Can we do piston - cylinder arrangement using spring element?
No
Hey,is basic knowlegde of designing enough?
For what ? For FEA basic knowledge of design is okay !
@@graspengineering9249 which version did you use here. Sir?

@@graspengineering9249 Do you provide any sort of training in FEM(ANSYS)?
Can you provide online training
Hi, We are working FEA Course on that, we will let you know once completed.
