I want to know how to achieve perfect peace.
When talking about the same charges a white man and a black man has and the white man hets out earlier , why not suggest that the length the of sentence is also attributed to their past records .

Surely there's a time and place for everything, anger included. There's even a scripture thar says God is angry with the wicked everyday (Psalm 7:11) ... so what is he talking about?

You’re afraid of emotion because you don’t understand how equals parts are necessary for balance. All this talk about being purely logical shows a very uneducated level of reasoning. It’s not about emotional or logical. A person can be illogical. Logical is not the opposite of emotional. Unemotional is the opposite of emotional and being unemotional available is one of the biggest dysfunctions of the black community. This entire conversation is uneducated. It’s not about emotional v logical. It’s about rational v irrational behavior.

I’ve been married 25 years. I submit to my husband and do NOT berate my husband when we’ve argued. I make his position as a Man, important and valued. I can tell you, there is more empowerment in service to him, and peace in staying in my God Ordained role, He does his.
If she does parenting classes, why does her daughter listen to WAP music. There is temporary power plays in that. Lasting love, building life without divorce and PEACE is following Gods commands not trying to make God fit in Man’s.
I'm not sure that the woman should be the one in question. The reality is, if men weren't a mess, the woman wouldn't be.

I love Tacarra, she is so tactful and graceful. Not bashing Jesse, but on the question of anger, I found that Jesse clearly presented with unresolved issues with how he saw his mother and their relationship as he made no comments relating to his father and anger. He seems to believe that anger only originated in mothers and that is the only way anger is passed on to children. His varying repeated questions on anger shows that his thoughts on mothers and anger is very concrete and that is in no way UNIVERSAL to all mothers.

I have had many laughs with her comedy. I am glad that she sat down and had this conversation with Jessie. There is no rule that you have to agree with everything that is stated, however I am glad that she represented black women in a positive light. Now the previews for the next episode…👀. I will have to tune in before assuming but still.. 😳.

Fantastic guest, definitely one of the best I have seen, she is a great person, intelligent, fair, interesting, thoughtful, but she isn't awake, hopefully she walks away smoking on it that every thought is a lie and she did not create them.
You need to come up with some practice akin to meditation where people can observe their thoughts until they understand what the are and where they come from, The silent prayer is good, but people need to be self guided. Counting to ten works well as it gives your mind something to be occupied with, then it's easier to notice intrusive thoughts and recenter yourself rather than fall into delusion. Honestly I think everyone should meditate to understand they are the watcher and listener not the mind or imagination. I read a bunch of books, talked to a bunch of people, but until I sat down with intention nothing made sense.

To the people who said "know thy self" is not biblical it is basically referenced in several places in the bible, Romans 12:3-8, Exodus 34:12, and 2 Corinthians,13:5. I think when Jesse Lee refers to the phrase it comes from his personal relationship with the Father and then probably he's lined that up with scripture. It seems to me that Jesse still holds a strong grudge towards his mother. He says he forgives her, and that may be somewhat true, but you can see and hear that he still hurting.

Her daughter doesn't understand why she's catering to her husband because her husband is not her daughter's father, so there is a disconnect. She doesn't view him the same way she would if it was her father her mother was fixing the plates for, because to a degree he's a foreigner in his own house because he is integrating himself into another man's family. This is why stepparenting and blended families are even less successful than conventional relationships. Things are out of balance and out of the natural order.
Interesting thei first thing she said about love is that love is doing whatever is in your own best interest. She followed up saying love is being selfless.
Those are contradicting statements.
