I got an undergraduate degree already then went on a two year school haitus while I just worked the entire time. Let me tell you these science classes are kicking my behind 😭😭 but this video definitely inspired me to keep going, so thank you!!!
I'm currently a tech at a hospital and my boss approached me about becoming a pharmacist. I wanted to back in highschool as well, but I just couldn't get past the chemistry and math. I would love to, but I just struggle so much with math and I'm too scared to try again. Yet, I am feeling motivated to try again and have no idea where to start so I've been watching videos and want to say thanks for uploading this. It helped motivate me to research a bit more before making a decision. I still don't know how to get past the prerequisites, but there is maybe some hope lol

I also wanted to give up, BUT I’m glad i didn’t because I got the courage to apply to pharmacy school and got accepted and will matriculate in the fall. I hope this video inspires others to pursue their dreams as well !!! 🙌🏾
Enjoyed your video and congrats on startting your journey!!!!! I just recently interviewed and was offered admissions to one of my choice schools..... God is definitely good and he will steer you where you need to be. Undergrad was tough especially being a biology major and a non-trad. I was terrified of physics but ended up with an 'A" in the end!!!! It is doable if you put God first!!!!!! The PCAT was not as terrifying as I expected so that was a plus!!!! Good luck on your journey and keep making these fab videos!!!!!! Stay blessed and prayed up!!!!!

It’s so crazy how much I can relate to your experience.I have a Bachelors but it’s not Healthcare related so I still have about 36 credits of undergrad that I will need to take which are my Bio, Chem, etc. The problem I am running into is I do not qualify for Financial Aid as an undergraduate anymore because I now have a Bachelors degree & will have to pay out of pocket. Did you ever run into this problem?
Yes. I have to take out my own personal loans. My go too is sallie Mae loan company. You will definitely have loans being in pharmacy school so if you really want to do it just try to take as many credit hours as you can with the pre req courses!

I highly recommend if you can and if it's possible to try to work in a pharmacy as a technician. It's almost impossible to shadow in retail because you need a license to be in the pharmacy. My experience working in retail made me question pharmacy school but I still went with it. After that experience I now know I would prefer another career path as a pharmacist, so yes try to get retail experience. Let me know if you have any more questions hun!

Your tip totally is similar to the channel from Doctor Ethan. Doctor Ethan's tips are actually insightful and I actually learned a lot for wellness! Do you get your bachelors degree first and then the pre reqs and then pharmacy or did you just go pre reques and then apply for the program?
For me! I got my undergrad degree then went to pharmacy school 2 years later. It’s all depends on the person and the path they take.
I’m 1.5 years away from being eligible to enroll in a pharmacy program… I will be 21-22 years old. I hope some people there are my age
It will be! You’ll be just fine. Don’t focus on age.
