I guess I’m just lucky that I bought my ‘02 GMC 2500 Duramax Powered Sierra back in ‘03 before all this latest electronic controlled power management became the norm . I put a full Gale Banks 6-gun tuner & speed loader on it along with S&B intake & full down pipe back 4” stainless exhaust on it along with Bank’s adjustable “ Big head waste gate “ that I set to 30 psi boost max & have never regretted any of it . Owned my truck 21 -1/2 years now & have enjoyed every bit of it . Glad to see the Dodge guys finally getting some assistance here from you . If Dodge trucks had been available with an Allison trans way back when I bought my truck I may have been a Dodge guy all these years . I believe ALL 3 Currently available brands have their strengths & weaknesses, but when properly set up & maintained can all be great trucks for us every day drivers . 😎👍
@wesr2718 Really what it came down to was the lack of information around the platform. Lots of testing needed to be done both on the transmission side of things and the tuning hardware side of things before we were confident enough to be able to release a product to the public.
